Great waterproof warm weather boots

Best fitting boots I've ever worn . They have a great combination of support but excellent ground feel. I measure a US 13 standard width and these boots fit me perfect with a set of Sheep Feet insoles and thin to medium thickness socks. For me there was zero break in time, literally ready to go straight out of the box.

Excellent Boots / worth getting

Amazing boots, these replaced my Acrux TR boots and they performed perfectly! Worked well in 4th and 5th class terrain, moving across glaciers and held up after climbing through very rough terrain through the Talkeetna Mountains in Alaska.

A definite step up in the hiking boot game

This shoe feels like a slightly softened version of an approach shoe. Shape reminds me of Scarpa, and the feel was similar and a bit more giving. And it did the job as advertised, gave the grip and hold for scramble type surfaces while remaining comfortable in the forest terrain.

Not quite satisfied on the fitting...

Hi, I am a big fan of Arc'teryx hiking boots, since Bora 2 Mid GTX. I still use Arc'teryx Acrux TR GTX, Acrux LT GTX, and one of the best boots among other hiking brands. I was hoping to release Acrux TR GTX this year, just as good as last time, because it has such a good review and a lot of people liked it, but Arc'teryx decided to release a new model. Excited and awesome design, different materials and good ankle support. Only one problem is that a big toe is touching the of the shoes and side of the shoes. It is not the size problem, I have already used half size up and also tried a full size up. Big toe is touching shoe and it is really bothering. I know it supposes to be tactical shoes, but it does not have enough room in the toe area. Whether the front shoe is too narrow or not enough room inside of the shoe, it is definitely different fitting than Acrux TR GTX, and everything else is comfy but those areas of big toes seems too narrow. By the way, I am not even having a wide feet, I am regular feet, and I have great experiences Arc'teryx Hiking Boots. After waiting for a year from Arc'teryx releases hiking boots with ankle support, and then I had to return to the store. I hope Arc'teryx keep releasing steady seller hiking boots, and then release new one, or give us some choices of variety rather than trying to fit everyone's expectation into one new model.

Hello Dale, thank you for sharing your experience. We really appreciate how long you’ve trusted Arc’teryx footwear, from the Bora 2 Mid GTX through the Acrux TR and LT. We’re glad to hear the new Konseal Trek Boot feels solid in design, materials, and ankle support, but we’re sorry the fit in the toe area hasn’t been working for you. Your feedback makes it clear that the forefoot volume and shape feel noticeably different from the Acrux TR GTX you’ve relied on. We understand how disappointing it is to wait for a new boot with ankle support only to have to return it, especially when you’ve had great experiences with our hiking models in the past. Your comments about toe‑box room and about offering both steady favorites and new designs are incredibly valuable, and we’ve shared them with our footwear team as we continue refining fit options.
