My New Favorite Daily Driver

This is THE jacket to have as a daily fall through spring daily driver for your day to day errands. There’s details like Velcro cuffs to further fine tune fit around gloves, pit zips, and internal pockets. And the synth green is just gorgeous in person. The fit is the classic MH fit and I would even venture to say even a little roomier in the chest area- and being a 38DD that’s saying something! I ordered my typical size and appreciate the extra bit of room for layering or sweaters. The jacket length is absolutely perfect and I’m a longer torsoed lady, no drafty lower back here. This is the first piece in a year or so that I’ve found from MH that they truly knocked it out of the park. The single only nitpick I could have is a lack of hood drawcords to cinch down the hood further. The only hood adjustment is at the back of the hood which cinches down the crown. If you’re on the fence, this is a very very solid buy.

Pretty darn good

Love that this coat is actually waterproof and doesn’t absorb the water! You can just see it beading off. I have a hard time finding coats with a big enough hood, and this one is perfect. I do with there were some draw strings or cords to synch the hood closer, and I wish the sleeves were a bit wider so I could layer thicker, but the coat has nice features like the side vents and front pocket, and I love it. I’m 5’7” 160lbs and I got a L, fits great.

Insulated rain jacket.

Warm rain jacket! Finally, someone figured out we needed an insulated rain jacket. And not insulated with fleece I might add, that sticks to flannel. Nope, they did this one right! Not too warm, just right for those 40-50 degree rainy days on the west coast. Sleeves run long but the Velcro cuffs take care of that. Zipper is too skimpy, but I like the jacket enough I am going to keep it.

Great Jacket

I have a hard time finding jackets that fit my torso well-, I like more of a boxy/relaxed fit and this jacket is just that. I'm 5'7 and went with a large so I can add extra layers this winter but could probably do a medium if I weren't planning on adding layers. Has armpit zippers and a pocket inside and the hood sinches. Good quality and waterproofing seem solid so far (I live in the PNW)

Just Right!

I have broad shoulders and a large bosom (36G) that are hard to fit in most women’s jacket but I took a chance and bought this jacket and I am so glad I did! I purchased an XL. The fit is perfect, I appreciate being able to adjust the sleeve opening and the hood. It’s not tight in the chest or shoulders which gives me room to move while snowshoeing and nordic skiing.

Great jacket great price

Exactly what I was looking for for a hiking trip. Perfect for layering with a down sweater underneath and a few more layers. I am 5'3 and 92 lbs and the XS fits me great with room for that additional jacket/sweater or two.

Really happy with this waterproof insulated jacket.

Excellent waterproof, insulated layer! Great piece of gear to keep you insulated even when wet. Love there are pit zips to let heat escape where needed. Plenty of zippered pockets. Overall excellent jacket and warm.

A great insulated rain coat!

I have the shell version of this coat and was excited to see an insulated version. Super warm, keeps me pretty dry in the wet Oregon winters. My only complaint is that the hood doesn’t have a drawstring. Why?

Daughter says amazing

My daughter really likes the jacket, I wish the sizing was a little bit more consistent. This one seems bigger than her other Mountain Hardwear XS jacket. Well made jacket that should last a long time.

Warm without being bulky

Great coat. Super warm for being as light as it is. I purchased two MH jackets at the same time and this was the winner of the two. Liked the little longer length that almost fully covers the butt.
