I am 63 year-old half marathon runner. I am slightly pigeon toed I have been running with Saucony triumphs as long as I can remember 10 years plus I’ve been running since I was a teenager so running is not new to me. My Saucony triumph.23’s, which I have two pair are getting tore up on the inside of the sole from the later miles of my half marathon and are getting tore apart. I just contacted Saucony to inform them of this issue. I was told they would forward the information. I did not ask for a refund. I didn’t ask for anything in return. I would just like the issue fixed on my next pair of Sacony triumph. I just purchased a pair of the 24 and appear to have the same issue.
Had these for a week, best shoes ever. Four particularly good things: (1) the tongue is really well designed and stays in place, (2) the heel handles slip-on action (when necessary), (3) very light, and (4) great cushioning without the Styrofoam look that the 22 and 23 had. I'd rank the 24 as the best, followed by the 22, with the 23 (while good) bringing up the rear. In a perfect world, there'd be a few more colors -- I'm wearing them everywhere. Appear true to size, with a bit more toe room than the 23.
Long time triumph fan. These blew me away. Exactly the upgrades I was hoping for. These are not walking shoes people these shoes want to run. Fast triumphs!
It's my seventh pair of Saucony and my third Triumph! I've always been very satisfied! These shoes are well built, very comfy, and soooo light! I love them!!!
The Triumph 24’s may be the best daily trainer EVER
The Triumph 20 and 21 were great. I skipped straight from the 21 to the 24, and the 24 is even better. I love the new foam in the Triumph 24s -- it's light, bouncy, and fun to run in. These are very comfortable, and stable enough for me. They work great for easy runs and eating up lots of miles, and then I use the Endorphin Speeds for workouts, which makes for a nice rotation. And I appreciate that they are available in wide, so they fit perfectly. Great work Saucony!
I’ve had these shoes about a month and they are the softest stepping shoe I’ve ever had. Literally like walking on cotton. Sounds dumb but they have such a soft step it surprises me every time I put them on. Highly recommend unless you want a stiffer step.
I’ve been a Saucony runner for 30+ years. It started with Shadows and had been a Triumph loyalist up through Model 20. I was really disappointed in the last few models and i had almost given up hope. I felt they lost sight of what made those shoes so special. Alas, the 24’s are spectacular! Thank you Saucony!! I can run free again. The cushion and bounce will allow my knees, shins and feet to run on for eternity!
Saucony triumph 24 Ordered triumph 24 I like this shoe The cushioning leans softer but does not bottom out. Has both a nice bounce and stable ride. Great upper (I think Saucony does the best uppers in the running shoe market). Nice wide toe box Heel is comfortable (and there is no heel slip). Also nice volume. I dislike snug shoes against my toes. I wouldn’t use this as a walking shoe. While walking it felt a bit wonky and wasn’t sure I was going to keep while trying it on a treadmill walking, but after hitting the pavement that sensation disappeared and was an enjoyable 5 mile run at a medium to easy pace The only downside (and this might be the result if their new ATPU foam) is that this is a noisy shoe. Not in a slappy sort of way as you find in adidas, but I could hear the foam hit/squish pavement on every footfall I listen to music as I run, so didn’t bother me too much. But as I said, I could hear it.
If you are looking for a soft, plush ride, skip this shoe. I have been walking in them for nearly three weeks and put over 50 miles on the foam, but it still feels rock-hard. The only upside is that the shoe is extremely lightweight, but the actual cushion is a total letdown if you want a comfy, squishy feel.
