Highly recommend. Excellent quality
Being this is a mens cardigan, my son modeled it for me. He said it is easy to flex in. He also mentioned that he typically wears an XL and this fits perfectly being a L. He said it appears to be very breathable yet warm as well. He said it is very comfy. Super soft fabric. The pockets are very massive and appear to go all the way up the inside of the jacket. Over all excellent quality.
Another Downgraded Product
Arc.. what’re you guys doing? All the people have been asking for has been to give the CC a trimmer fit. Instead- you made it boxy and oversized in all the wrong places. I went to actually buy one of these and checked one out in store beforehand, and compared to my 2025 CC- it feels worse in nearly every single way. Shorter and boxier torso, longer and wider sleeves, the fleece no longer feels like the sweater knit they had been doing, and the invisible stitching they’ve been doing forever has also disappeared and looks cheap. If you’re looking for style, then this piece would be fine as overall it’s not bad looking, but If you’re looking for the performance pieces you’d typically find with Arc, then you’ll be heavily disappointed to find another piece has yet been given a more mainstream look and feel and has had corners cut to reduce the cost, but not for the customer.
My husband loved it!
This cardigan is so warm and cozy! My husband loves it! Super easy to layer with other tops. The sizing is accurate and it is very breathable! My husband has been wearing this to work and looks very nice with his black work shirts!
Boxy Covert
The fit of the Covert Cardigan has been modified. It is now "regular" fit rather than "fitted". Personally I prefer this, as to me, it is a casual, every day cardigan and now it fits over normal t-shirts or even button ups. I understand arc old heads prefer the tight fit of the past but I think that is a bit out of fashion for casual wear. In my mind this is an every day casual sweater-jacket and do not think it is intended for climbing or even as an active mid layer. Anyway, if you like the Covert styling but wished it wasn't such a tight fit, now's the time to get one. I remove one half star because even though it's a design signature of the Covert line, the shoulder pocket is a useless size. Another 0.5 deduction because the arms are a bit too long.
Terrible fit
After 30 years as an ArcTeryx customer, it look like it's time to move on. I have had five of these and they are my most favorite piece of clothing I have ever owned. I wear my covert cardigans all year long and have been through them, repaired them, fixed them, and bought new ones. I went to the store to buy the new version with the finally improved material that looks like it won't pile, and the fit is super baggy and loose. I'm 5'9" 145lbs, athletic fit and the Small has been a perfect fit for years. The sleeves are too long, the fit makes you look like you are wearing a cheap cotton sweater rather than the almost tailored fit of previous models. How to take one of your best selling product and turn away loyal customers willing to pay almost any price to get it. Enshitification in action. Too bad, this was an amazing product for years.
fits large
The fit on this was too large. I am 5'9' 167 lbs. I bought medium and have been buying both medium and large coverts since they came out - I have 5 others. This fit even larger than the previous large coverts that I have. I had to return it.
Still crazy (good) after all these years.
I’ve had this fleece since 2010, still is in great shape. All the zippers still work perfectly. Just a bit of piling. At 16 years old, when it’s the coldest, this is what I grab.
Durable
Ive hard one for the better part of 10 years, and it’s held up great, even just washed and dried in the machines, & would wear it regularly
