The Goldilocks shoe for me
Yes , I recommend this product
I ran on the Brooks Ghost 17 for about a year before coming to these. Those Ghost 17s were awesome. They helped me go from not running at all, to being on track for a half marathon this fall. For a new shoe I wanted something fresh, and a little faster feeling, but still have that supportive and reliable feel. I tried a ton of different shoes at REI. The store associates were very helpful and encouraging. In the end I chose the Brooks Amp because they had that familiar feeling of my old shoe but just more lively. I feel like there aren’t many compromises with this shoe, they’re comfortable, fast, have durable and premium feeling materials, fits well, stable on corners, does well on all types of runs. For reference. I’m in my mid twenties, about 190 pounds and 6 feet 2 inches. I’m an average runner. I do about 12-20 miles a week of running.
