Brooks  Ghost Max 4 Road-Running Shoes - Men's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really liked these shoes so far. They have a lot of cushioning, but they don’t feel overly bulky. I can definitely tell they help absorb the impact when I’m running, and even after longer walks or being on my feet for a while, my feet don’t feel as tired. They have a really smooth feel from heel to toe, and running feels easy in them. I feel really supported but they don't feel stiff like some of my other running shoes. Overall, they’re comfortable, supportive, and have worked great for both running and everyday wear. The color is nice and easily match with anything that I wear. They also have great traction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the GhostMax 4 shoes for my daily running outside. I typically run on the sidewalks in my neighborhood. I found the shoes to be well cushioned and helped to prevent soreness from running on pavement. The shoes also felt very natural on my feet and made my running feel easier. I am a fast runner for my age and these shoes helped to lessen the impact on my legs and knees. There is a lot of support in these shoes and I would purchase them in the future. I did not have any aches when using these shoes as I have with other less cushioned running shoes.

I had the Ghost Max 3 and didn’t think Brooks could improve on them, but the Ghost Max 4 surprised me. The cushioning still feels fantastic, but the ride seems a little smoother and the transition from heel to toe feels more natural. What I noticed most was how well they absorb impact. Longer walks and runs feel easier on my feet and joints, and I don’t feel as fatigued afterwards. The stability is excellent without making the shoe feel heavy, and the grip has been solid in both dry and wet conditions. If you liked the Ghost Max 3, I think the Ghost Max 4 is a worthwhile update. It’s not a massive change, but it’s a noticeable improvement where it counts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore this pair of shoes for two weeks straight, running on the streets as well as treadmill. These are by far one of the most comfortable pair of running shoes I’ve ran in. The shoes are true to size with great ventilation, and it looks good as well. The strike to the ground when running has been cushion significantly due to the technology the shoes have, and the rotation from heel to toe is also very seamless and smooth. The grip is OK, nothing to brag about. I do wish the rubber use for grip was a little better. Additionally, the shoelace did come untied three times during the two weeks I was running with them. Overall, the shoes are fantastic. Brooks makes great running shoes, and these are no exception. I highly recommend these shoes as a casual runner, for marathons, long distant runner, or even just for casual walking. You won’t regret this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are so great for my 10k runs on the treadmill. They have held up great and the sizing is perfect. I love that they have a good width and allow a little swelling of the foot during the run. They are soooooo comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone! They definitely support my arches well and are great for long endurance runs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked these up mainly for evening walks/running, and they've been great. First thing you notice is the cushioning — plush but not mushy, and the rocker shape kind of rolls you forward so each step feels smooth. I've got slightly wider feet, and these don't cramp them at all. Knees feel a lot better at the end of the day. No complaints.

13W fits great in the toe and arch, even though I have flat feet. I’ve been wearing Nike, but these fit much better. My son bought a pair and loves them.

I purchased the Brooks Ghost Max 4 during my recovery from a partial Achilles tear, and they have been excellent. The cushioning is comfortable without feeling unstable, and the rocker design allows a smooth transition through each step while reducing the effort required at the ankle and Achilles. As a physiotherapist, I’m quite particular about footwear.....especially during injury rehabilitation, and I’ve been impressed by the combination of support, comfort and stability. They have helped me transition back into normal walking with confidence and have remained comfortable throughout the day. A very well-designed shoe and an excellent option for walking, everyday wear and a gradual return to activity. Highly recommended.

When I was a teenager I was looking for a super comfortable pair of sneakers for walking to school and doing Marching band. My friend's Mom gave me the invaluable advice to look at whatever sneakers nurses are wearing at the time. Recently a family member was in the hospital and when I went to visit I noticed 9/10 nurses were wearing a pair of Brooks! That's a shining endorsement for me! My experience with these Brooks Ghost Max 4 sneakers has been exceptional. I work remote all day at a stand up desk (sitting for long periods is uncomfortable for me) and these sneakers have proven to be comfortable and supportive for long hours on my feet. Walking in them is cushioned yet natural and really just make you want to GO! I've only been able to do one road run with these sneakers since I got them but I was very pleasantly surprised how comfortable they were over my 4+ miles. These sneakers are more cushioned than pretty much any other sneaker I've ever used before but don't feel unnatural. The soles are shaped in such away that they lend to your natural gate and really seem to push you forward while still feeling stable and comfortable. These sneakers are pretty attractive looking as well. They kind of remind me of the skate sneakers I wore in middle school but sleaker. I have no problem wearing them out without getting odd looks. I feel very confident in recommending these sneakers to my closest friends and family and will be using mine for a long time to come.
