Brooks  Ghost Amp Road-Running Shoes - Women's

I’ve been really impressed with the Brooks Ghost Amp. From the first run, they felt incredibly comfortable with a perfect balance of responsiveness and cushioning. They feel smooth and energetic, making training runs easier and faster paced session effortless. The fit is nice and secure too and keeps my feet feeling comfortable even on longer runs. I love how lightweight they feel and will definitely be wearing these shoes for Melbourne Marathon. What stands out most is how versatile the Ghost Amp is for a quick morning run or a lo no er weekend run. The shoes are fantastic combining flexibility, comfort and performance. Finally, they look great! I love the colour and style and the Ghost Amp are my go-to running shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the Ghost Amp running shoes. As soon as I put them on I immediately felt like I had more pep in my step. Despite the thick sole, it did not add a heaviness or extra weight and it didn’t not slow down my pace. I actually achieved a PR for my 5k time the first time I wore them on a treadmill! The mesh-like but sturdy material left my feet able to breathe regardless of how hard I worked. I did notice the back of the shoe irritated my heel depending on what socks I wore, so I had to do a little trial and error with finding the best fit. These were also great out on the pavement, gravel, and even a little mud! The tread kept me on track regardless of the terrain.

I have purchased so many walking and running shoes but these have truly raised the bar. My personal health goal is to get 10k steps every single day, whether that's outdoors or on my walking pad. Although very beneficial to my overall health, it can cause a strain on my joints and back. As soon as I put on these pair of Brooks I was blown away. They are so bouncy, which helps put less impact on my joints. I also find that I can walk longer distances without draining my energy level. You never know what you're missing until you have it! The Ghost Amps are now a staple in my everyday routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did have to return these after a 5 mile run. I read all the reviews before buying. This I do appreciate from Brooks. I’m still completely emotionally unstable since I’ve hated every Hyperion Max that came out since the 2’s that were my favorite and the light of my life and thought I’d try a light and responsive shoe by Brooks. It’s squishy. Dreadfully squishy. Like your foot sinking into slime. No energy return. My Achilles flared up about mile 3. I may have to go back to the Hyperion max when they get a new shoe design that isn’t awful. I really wanted to love this shoe. I will say the toe box was roomy enough and I did like that!

My foot feels more supported than ever before and the bounce off the ground keeps my legs energized and able to keep moving. I wore these shoes on two different types of occasions, both high intensity focused, one run and one long distance theme park walking. They kept up with my pace and kept my feet feeling fresh! These shoes perform with high quality, style, form, and fit. I am energized to keep going while wearing these shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening, I was reminded of the 80s moon shoes I used to own. I feel like floating on a cloud in these! I was skeptical because of the sole thickness, but they truly help move you forward when you walk and run. I tried these out at a nature trail with my daughter and on the treadmill. Both times I felt light and comfortable. They are breathable, true to size, and give you a little pep in your step! The color attracted a lot of compliments, too.

I love the bounce to them, I feel like it gives me a little extra pep in my step. The insoles are comfortable and the upper material is breathable. I love that the shoes move with my moving foot and don’t constrict at all, yet stay secure the whole run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. These might actually be my new favorite shoes. I’ve been a loyal owner of Brooks ghosts for many years. This version seems to give my foot the hug that I appreciated in the Ghost 15 or earlier models, and provide more lateral stability than the current 18s. They said a bit lower, so it doesn’t feel like you’re about to roll your ankle as well. I definitely felt a bit of a pop with faster paces, but at an average pace, there isn’t as much return as you would feel in a more standard carbon plated shoe if that’s what you’re looking for. I traditionally do better in a higher drop shoe, but my Achilles did not get flared up despite this only being 6 mm which was exciting. Did not give a perfect 10 because I’ve only had these for a few weeks and not sure how well they will hold up from a durability standpoint, but overall would highly recommend these!

Secondly, these feel like walking on CLOUDS! I had such a pep in my step wearing these and got so many compliments. My running stride is improved and I feel faster! I absolutely love these and would recommend to a friend.
