Very suitable for those who are looking for something that can be worn for workouts + daily wear + casual jogging or even just a walk to your most local supermarket. My feet have stayed completely dry during rainy weather. The material of the shoes feels very durable and breathable. The design is stylish as well because the color is a classic choice. The cushioning inside the shoes feels very soft. Didn’t make my feet hurt by the end of the day during longer runs. They have a steady grip and provide great support during slippery situations. Would recommend this pair of shoes to everyone I know.

However, the Ghost 18 GTX did not give me any issues. It didn’t take long to break into them. Less than a day and they have a nice cushion. Running is a breeze. I don’t have to worry about a high back that rubs against my ankle. The treading is nice and not slippery on smooth or wet surfaces. I live in Florida. It’s currently rain season but the shoes have maintained its shape and color just fine. I was worried that overtime with the heat the shoes would warp or smell. So far I have not had to worry about that. Overall, these shoes are comfortable for anyone who runs long distance or works all day on their feet.

My feet stayed dry through rain and wet grass without feeling like they were trapped in a hot, heavy shoe. They were surprisingly breathable for a waterproof shoe. The cushioning is what really stood out to me. It has that soft, comfortable feel Brooks is known for without feeling mushy. Whether I was out for a quick walk or spending a couple of hours on my feet, my legs still felt fresh at the end. The traction gave me a lot of confidence on wet sidewalks, on trails and slick pavement. I never felt like I had to shorten my stride or worry about slipping, which is a huge plus during Florida’s frequent rain showers. Overall, I’d absolutely wear these year-round. They feel just as natural and comfortable as a standard running shoe but with the added confidence of waterproof protection. If you spend any amount of time outdoors and don’t want the weather dictating your plans, these are an easy recommendation.

Typically I am the type of person who can tell within the first mile if a shoe is going to cut it or not when it comes to comfort and durability. Theses shoes are so incredibly comfortable and extremely durable! These shoes are built with a runner in mind. They are breathable as well as weather proof. Going through the different terrains played no part in how these shoes felt. The constant pounding of the pavement was like bouncing on clouds as far as comfortability goes. They are perfect for quick runs and also perfect for going the distance which is truly saying alot. It was nice to not have to worry about grip and traction while on my running journey as well. These shoes move with you and you don't have to worry about slipping or losing control. When it comes to a nice running shoe the Ghost 18 GTX are truly made with movement and travel in mind. If you want a shoe that can provide not only stability but extreme comfort these are THE shoes for you!!! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW!!! The Brooks Ghost 18 GTX are without a doubt the best waterproof running shoes I have ever owned. I live in Florida where it rains almost every day in the summer so I need a good quality pair of waterproof shoes. These shoes definitely fit the bill! I am simply amazed by how well the Ghost 18 GTX protected my feet during my rainy runs while still maintaining the breathability of a typical mesh running shoe. This pair of shoes has eliminated the dread I would feel prior to running in the rain. They are a complete game changer and a permanent addition to my rotation of running shoes. The Ghost 18 GTX run true to size and fit my feet perfectly. Sometimes I have to wear a wide in shoes, but not with this pair. They are like little gloves for my feet. The cushioning feels absolutely amazing. I could run or walk in these shoes all day long without fatigue. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are also very stylish and I received many compliments from strangers regarding the beauty of these shoes. The traction and grip of the Ghost 18 GTX is incredible. I do a lot of trail running where surfaces can be full of algae and I was quite impressed with how well the shoes performed in this area. Slippery surfaces are no problem for these shoes. I can’t say that I would choose these shoes over my non-waterproof shoes if I know it’s going to be dry outside but living in Florida means a rainstorm can pop up at any given time! So these issues are definitely high up on my list when it comes to summer running. The only downside I could find to the Ghost 18 GTX shoes is that they do take a while to dry out if you get water in them. I ran through a deep puddle by accident where the water came inside of my shoes around my ankles. Since these shoes are waterproof, the water didn’t escape and it took a long time for them to dry out completely after I took them off. Aside from this incident, these shoes have been perfect for me! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a premium quality waterproof running shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks lover forever! I walk in the morning when the dew is very heavy, and the Gore-Tex keeps my feet comfortable and dry. I have now entered my 50s era, and the extra cushion matters! Brooke are my go to shoe for accurate sizing each time.

These are not my first pair of Brooks! I will continue to buy them. The fit, look, colour and support in the shoe is fantastic!
