Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so incredibly comfortable! They make me feel like I’m running on clouds. I have never owned a pair of Brooks sneakers before and I am completely sold on these. I have already told four of my friends about them - they are seriously, so incredibly well-made. I was worried after my run that my arches would begin hurting because they feel so lightweight that I doubt it they would provide the support that I usually want but they did an amazing job. I can’t recommend these enough.

Comfortable, Supportive, and Great for Wet Trails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking for a waterproof, all-terrain shoe that I could wear for hiking and other outdoor activities, and the Brooks I had been looking for a waterproof, all-terrain shoe that I could wear for hiking and other outdoor activities, and the Brooks Cascadia 20 GTX has been a great choice. Right out of the box, I wore them on a hike for over an hour on a dirt and rocky trail with uneven surfaces and several creek crossings. I was impressed that I had no stiffness, rubbing, or blisters at all. They do feel firmer and more structured than a regular tennis shoe, but that is part of what made them feel so supportive and sturdy on the trail. Even though they are waterproof, my feet did not feel hot or sweaty. I have found myself reaching for them several times since that first hike because they are comfortable, supportive, and practical for outdoor use. My only complaint is the appearance of the all-black color. To me, it can look a little orthopedic, so I would probably choose one of the other available color options. Aside from the color, I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Great Traction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am fairly new to hiking and trail running, but I do know that having a good pair of shoes is crucial for safety. The Cascadia 20 GTX are perfect for all outdoor activities. They have great grip so I felt secure on all different types of terrain—rock, grass, and dirt. I knew that I could get through it all. However, since it is fairly dry and hot in my area (talking over 100s), I am unsure of the waterproof protection of the shoes currently. Give it a few months and I hopefully will know a little more! The cushioning in the Cascadia 20 GTX was standard. However, I felt that I still needed to put my usual running inserts in for my feet. I don’t feel like I could wear them straight out of the box and be able to last a long run without doing so. That is mostly due to my flat feet and not the shoes though. The shoes felt comfortable once I put my insert in and I felt like I could run just fine in them. This is a great shoe for dry trail running. I feel super confident running around on all terrains, especially rocks and dirt. I would rely on these shoes for wet-weather trail runs when the time comes for sure!

Very impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow I am so impressed with the Cascadia! These are my new go to’s. I have owned many pairs of Brooks trail runners and honestly I’ve liked them all but these exceeded my expectations. The gore Tex is phenomenal. I have been running through sudden downpours lately on the east coast these kept me DRY. They were absolutely covered in mud and were spotless by the next run in the rain haha! So I’d say they are a low maintenance easy to clean shoe as well. The comfort is pretty unmatched for me as far as past running shoes. I usually add an insole to my shoes as I have a high arch than can cause pain sometimes. These soles are cushioned and springy which I’ve never experienced before but I really love it. Makes me feel like I can run further, huge bonus! The style is perfect for me. One thing about running shoe shopping for me is that I’m always prepared to go in and drop a bunch of money on an ugly shoe. It’s just how it goes. These Cascadias however I find so cute and stylish! They’re all black with a classic silhouette, small grey detailing and a vibram sole. I typically buy a different running shoe each purchase because I like to try everything but I would go back to these actually i like them that much.

Cascadia 20 GTX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Cascadia 20 GTX waterproof trail shoes were the perfect pair for enjoying hikes and runs in wet, muddy and slushy conditions. I typically look for water proof shoes that blend comfort, performance and style. This pair hits all criteria for a great shoe for all wet, rainy and muddy trails and you can enjoy wearing after to grab coffee. These shoes performed well on wet trails, muddy trails, rain and rocky surfaces. While wearing these shoes my feet stayed warm and dry in hiking around creeks and streams. They were so comfortable with foot temperature and dryness. My shoes protected my feet on rainy day conditions. While out on rocky and pebbly trails the traction on the outsole kept my foot stable while ascending and descending. The grippy feel of the lugs was helpful while in muddy/rocky areas and it felt very adaptable to varied terrain that I enjoyed in my area. I felt secure while hiking and jogging on trails a varied steepness and I like how grippy the outsoles are. The Cascadia 20 GTX are great shoes on the outside but the comfort and cushioning on the inside of the shoes are so dreamy. I was able to enjoy wearing these shoes and they quickly became my go to for trails. The insole was soft and supportive and I didn't need to break in the shoes they were adaptable to my feet from day one and I enjoyed varied trail lengths from short mornings out to longer hikes. Very comfortable performance on the inside of there shoes. The all weather performance was so helpful for taking this pair to varied climates. My feet were comfortable and dry in this pair and these can be taken on a trip as a great option for all around use and comfort. All around comfort and stability in rainy and wet trail conditions.

Too small until I re-ordered

I had to return the size I usually wear in Brooks shoes. When I go a half size larger, the shoe fit perfectly. Consider ordering a half size up.

Cascadia GTX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in love! I walk my dog early in the morning and the dew is intense, so gortex is a must. I’ve always had Ghost GTX but had to give these a try … LOVE the reflective accents and neutral colors. These are just as supportive and cushioned as Ghost, but with added traction for the wintery Wisconsin weather ahead. Grateful that sizing has always been true to size for stress free ordering. I’m a Brooks wearer for life!

Best all-weather, all-terrain shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are absolutely the most sturdy shoes I’ve ever put on. I feel very secure and steady in them. The bottom of the shoes prevent me from slipping on anything and when I walk I don’t feel like I could possibly fall to either side because they feel so balanced. Even when I’m running on wet or uneven terrain, the traction keeps me steady. The cushioning was comfortable even on a longer run. That being said, they do feel like they run a bit small, so I would get a half size up to ensure your toes don’t feel too squished. I feel confident and comfortable wearing these shoes in all conditions, including wet weather trail runs. The waterproof protection kept my feet dry and protected from the water and mud. This helped me stay comfortable during my run rather than feeling like I was running in a soggy shoe. I even wore them on a slightly sandy trail hike and did not slip. These are definitely the best shoes for all weather and terrain. .
