• Compact at-home kit for immersive chain waxing; includes 600 ml wax warmer, drip stand and cable coupler (wax is not included)

• For ultimate accuracy, Silca uses a PID controller rather than a thermostatic one
• This means the wax is only heated to the specified temperature without risking overheating, which can occur with a standard crock pot-style heater
• Due to this precise control, Silca advises heating to 257°F (125°C) to speed up melting, then dropping to 167°F (75°C) as the wax gets hot for the fastest application time
• Chain-hanging stand allows for a no-mess drying period when you can allow excess wax to drip right back into the pot to use for the next application
• The notched base keeps the melter in place and holds the chain coupler securely in place
• The chain coupler has a steel cable that is threaded on one side, allowing it to be looped through your chain and secured on the other side
• Dip your chain in the wax, agitate and hang—all without getting wax anywhere you don't want it or touching a pot of hot wax
• Compared to oil-based lubricants, chain wax provides maximum longevity between applications; it repels dirt, dust and grime for a cleaner, smoother-running drivetrain
• Note from Silca: Do not operate if appliance has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner, or dropped in water
