Awesome size and proportions and fabric
Yes! I bought one earlier in the year and it was my go-to gym tee when I lost it. The fabric is soft and strong cotton polyester, so enough sweat-wicking for a hyper sweater like me. I know that the sports brands make high-performance tees, and even REI makes them, but they all look awful on me. What I liked so much about this tee is that the fit and proportions were *the best* on my frame. The REI Active Pursuits tees just don’t compare, partly because of the different size and proportions, partly because of the different fabric patterns/stitching in some cases, and partly because of the different materials—hyper stretchy polyester elastane that just feels weird, or hyper thin polyester that clings everywhere as soon as I start to sweat. This tee was the best fit on my frame whether dry or wet. It’s not the color or graphics or any magical property of the fabric, just the fact that it looked reliably good when most other tees did not. Fancy fabric and color schemes mean nothing if the size and proportions are wrong for your frame. So glad I can grab another one or two. This is the thing I like best about REI tees and it’s so weird that of all the brands they are *the only* ones that consistently nail that size and proportions for my frame. Hint hint, REI.
Neckline too big
I like the shirt, but the neckline is way too big. I missed out on the window to return it, unfortunately.
Mislabeled material
Listed as 100% cotton, but when received is 50/50 cotton/polyester. Also it's very thin.
A nice thin tee
It’s nice and thin and also generous cut as opposed to athletic. Great bumming around tee spreading the REI word!
Sizing seems off
I like the shirt overall but the sizing is much bigger than other brands. I prefer a looser fit but not super baggy like this one.
