Better than I expected

I had an idea of what shokz products were but now that I bought the best or latest version of their hearing Earphones I can say that they are more than I expected From headphones that don't go inside the ear, sink on the outside. So I recommend them 100% if you are looking for a headphone that leaves that sound space around you, not only for running, but for all occasions, the sound is almost as good as headphones that are inserted in the ear. Thank you shokz.

Awesome headphones!

Purchased a pair of openfit 2’s for my wife several months ago and they were so great I just purchased the openfit 2+ for myself when they were released. We absolutely love these. Sound quality and clarity are very good, and the comfort is unmatched. No more sore ears after listening to earbuds for more than 30 minutes. I was initially worried that I would miss sound isolation with the open design, but this really hasn’t been an issue for me because the sound quality is so good and the benefits of the open design are great. Frankly, if sound isolation is a dealbreaker for someone, they should really be looking at over the ear headphones rather than buds any way.

Love them, but use-case issues

I have owned OpenSwim and OpenRun versions. I love not having the metal loop behind the neck for biking. Sound is amazing. Improved sound. Issues 1. I left the house for a run. My phone wanted to do a UI update so it took like 10-15mins before I could listen. These earphones do not have a power button. They require the case to wake them up. Case is small, but it was super irritating to not have music on my run. 2. The over ear loops are super comfy, but I feel the engagement could be better because the speaker is not in the ear it is more vulnerable to loss. I was fiddling to pause while running and it fell off my ear. Wearing a headband to hold them down for fear of losing one seems to somewhat defeat the purpose.

Good Openear Buds

This is my first set of open ear buds and they work pretty well so far. They fit secure on my ears but if you have longer hair, it might be harder to loop around. Calling with these is good too. I can hear audio clearly and the app is a nice addition in case you want to change settings. Phone calls are fine as no one has complained. Granted, I usually take these indoors with minimal noises so I can't speak for outside interface. The only issue I have is after a while, one of my ears still get sore. I was hoping this wouldn't be a problem but this is normal for earbuds.

OPENFIT 2+ review

I know the concept for these is very different than industry-leading ANC headphones, but they are amazing for their intended purpose. Running is far more enjoyable when you can hear the music as well as the cars and pedestrians around you. The music sounds crisp and loud; it’s everything I was looking for.

LOVING THEM SO FAR

I have only gotten to use these once because I bought them for cycling but weather is not cooperating. On the ride I did with them, the sound quality was excellent and as I only use them to listen to audiobooks, I was pleasantly surprised on how well I could hear the book and outside noise as well. Going down hill was the only time it was a little difficult but that would be the case with any headphone. They were also totally comfortable with the helmet on. I kept checking to see if one had fallen out because I could not feel them at all. Very happy with this purchase.

Great products!

I bought the OpenFit 2+ and got the OpenRun set for free. They both are amazing! I wasn't expecting the sound the OpenRun set provides. I was expecting the sound to be weak, but they are actually pretty loud if you turn them up all the way, uncomfortably loud. For a bone conductor set, it works great. The OpenFit set is truly great. I was expecting better sound for an over-the-ear set and they delivered. The sound is almost as good as the traditional earphone. I am in video calls every day and run on weekends, and both sets check all the boxes. Congratulations Shokz!!!

Best sounding Shokz to date!

As a long time Shokz user (all the way back to the AfterShokz days lol), these are the lightest and best sounding pair to date. They take the open ear experience up a couple of notches with the Dolby Audio technology, plus the additional (and customizable) EQ settings are a HUGE improvement in sound quality. My only ask is that a firmware update comes along to have more control over the physical buttons and being able to assign custom controls to them.

The greatest ever

finally I can wear Shokz in an airplane. With the Dolby on they work great. I have many models and no one was loud enough to use in an airplane. Soooooo happy with them. I have been buying the past models and no one compares to this for the use I have. Wear them everyday and now when I travel I also take them and works great. Thanks Shokz for this new improvement. Keep it up. I still love the prior models I have and also keep using them. You ROCK.

Going Backwards

I own the original open fit headphones and only upgraded for the battery life, which is much improved. The slickly to connect two devices is very handy in an office environment and the wireless charging means I don't have to bring another charging cable with me. Removing the touch feature overall is a dramatic misstep, even with the ability to actually do more than pause and change volume, I'd rather have the touch rather than fumbling around to brace the headphone to press a button. The absolute most frustrating part of this product is the sound changing without warning as if the headphones are projecting from a soup can. This happens when I turn my head two inches too far or when I place my hand near it to change the volume. For the price point and what they're designed to be, an activity-focused headphone, I would not recommend these to a friend.
