Best shoe Nike has made in years! I've tried at least 100 pairs of shoes in the past years. I'm by no means fast and have had all from bad ankle sprains to plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis... These shoes are the GOAT. FINALLY NIKE NAILED IT! I tried the first version of these and then every other after it just to be dissappointed. Now I have 3 pair of these and I'm in love! My legs feel fresh after each run: long , tempo or sprints. It feels like running on clouds! You'll forget you have them.on! Plus great for high arches and works fantastic with runner's knot! Absolutely superb shock absorption and energy return. Please nike don't ever discontinue these!!!
I bought these to be a trainer for my marathon and I fell in love with the energy return and how snug they felt. Not to mention the beautiful colors. So this was my purchase of a second pair for the the marathon. I have a pair of Alphaflys but there was certainly a more sturdy feel to the zooms. Most would steer away from that as a race shoe but I have been suffering from an Achilles injury and found the heel grip and glove like upper the perfect combo for the long push. Had a great marathon in them and can’t wait to keep racking up the miles in both my pairs.
I’m relatively new to road racing (having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile - your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7.5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we’ll see.
Good looking shoe out of the box, and super light weight!! depending on which Nike shoe I buy, I’m a 9.5/10W, so I went with a 10W to give my toes extra room. Perfect fit with enough room. After putting them on the shoes were super comfortable very spongy and supportive. Took them out for a 3 mile run the next day and they were amazing, responsive, no heel slippage, feet weren’t sliding, and honestly make you want to go faster. Can’t speak on previous models of the zoom x as i never tried them out, but would definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for a daily trainer for short, longer miles, speed work etc.
Just don’t do it! I just used them to run the NYC Marathon 2025 yesterday. While standing at the corral to walk to the starting line I got the felt an intense pain on the ball of my foot, by mile 5 my toes were numbed. I never experienced this pain before, I finished the race but my experience would have been different if I wasn’t in pain for 26.2 miles. There should be a disclaimer for these shoes: not meant to stand in line before the race starts… just in case this crosses your mind, I wasn’t wearing a size too small. This shoe can only help you run, but you can’t avoid walking to/from the race, standing in line to use the bathroom or waiting at the corral. True shame.
Very surprised and delighted by this shoe. They are so bouncy that initially I was nervous running downhill at speed, but gave into it and have really loved the experience in them. Perfect for road runs and also are my preferred race day shoes for Hyrox. Easy in and out of the rower and light an d breezy for the running. Trying to preserve these as race day only and use my Vomero 17 for daily training runs. Have recommended these to 2 friends and they both love them! ❤️
This shoe has completely revived my running and is the best shoe I have ever worn. I've been a distance runner since 1984 and wore Pegs for much of my life. Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about :30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers - would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.
The shoes are great, lightweight, feel great on a run but after about couple of weeks (running 3 times a week) the sole started falling apart (pilling on the side). It’s a shame as I loved how the shoes feel. I arranged for them to be returned but never got a refund, just going through a complaint process.
After reading a couple reviews related to the durability of these shoes, I had to chime in. I run multiple marathons a year, and have struggled to find a long run shoe I love--until I found the Zoom Fly 6. I just ordered my second pair after putting over 400 miles of long-runs on my previous pair. I have worn these on gravel and pavement, and they have performed beautifully. They have wonderful traction, and if you have a narrow, low-volume foot, it is hard to find a better fit. Definitely my go-to when I have a lot of training miles to log and need a shoe that is up to the task!
I absolutely love these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable. I have been using them for training for a 5K, which I ran with them yesterday. This is my first pair of carbon-plated running shoes, and I am a novice- to intermediate-experienced runner. I am a huge fan.
