Very quality product and lightweight, just wish the front lower chest pocket a bit bigger/taller, and a more convenient phone pocket
The design of this vest falls short in most ways compared to Solomon vests. The zippered pockets for the flasks are a great idea but they don’t open enough and still don’t allow you to easily remove and insert the flasks. They also get stuck a lot. The bungee on the top of the flask doesn’t go around the neck of the bottle so it doesn’t seem to do much to hold them upright. My biggest gripe is the left chest zippered pocket zips down into the lower stretch pocket, so it is very difficult to access, even with 2 hands at a standstill. I can only imagine how annoying it would be to actually use during a run. If you had anything in the front left stretch pocket, the zippered pocket would be that much harder to access without a struggle. Just an incredibly poor design. The front closure bungee straps are adjustable but not nearly as easily as the Solomon vests. The side cinch bungee is a nice touch, but they are positioned so far back I couldn’t reach them making them sort of useless in practice. Had high hopes for this when I ordered it but it really just misses the mark in many ways for me. If you are using this and plan to carry nothing but the 1L water and a gel or 2, the fit felt good and this would work well enough. In design it feels inferior to the Solomon although I do prefer the fit. Disappointing overall.
