Excellent for race day.

This pack will be an excellent option for race day. It is light weight, breathable and offers much better adjustability compared to past summit series packs. After using the cords to adjust the fit, I experienced a secure, comfortable, fit with no bouncing around. It has the storage necessary to fit a rain jacket, cell phone, nutrition and water all at once and is even hydration bladder compatible if purchased separately. This pack is rightfully very simple by design. If you desire certain features I would opt for the Sunriser vest instead. There are no waterproof pockets so bring a plastic bag for your keys. The Sunriser vest also offers better compartmentalization/organization within the pockets and can carry just a little bit more. Both are great packs, but be aware of your needs.

Fantastic high capacity/lightweight vest

Fantastic running vest with tons of capacity. Despite the large storage capacity, the vest is super light weight and highly adjustable. I knocked a star off for two reasons: the bottle pouches are too tight for 500ml+ flasks. They fit, but getting them in is a chore. On a racing pack, these should slide right in and be secure. Second, the inclusion of the non-sensical bungee cords for flask tops of unnecessary and just get in the way of getting flasks in and out.

Runs small (but it's good)

I got the large, and it fits well (I'm 6'2", 185 lbs). The vest is really good. My only criticism is the bottle holders are a little too deep, making it a little annoying to sip. Overall, great vest.

Runs small

I wore a medium in my old NF running vest. This one in medium was WAY too small. Returning for a large. Seems like a good vest, but haven't gotten to try it out yet.

Fits great and very good.

Go with Large if your 165-170 and about 6 ft 1 and 42-43 inch chest. Medium will be too small.

Why such a big logo on the back.

Looks like a great vest but why such a big logo on the back? Looks like a billboard.
