Comfortable for the long run
I have several pair of these shorts and will keep purchasing them as my other ones wear out. The pocket on the liner is useful for a key when I don't want to carry a waist pack. The waistband doesn't rub or chafe when I do wear the waist pack and the rest of my bits are settle in comfortable, with a little anti-chafe rub and I'm good to go. The only thing that sometimes happens in the drawstring comes untied and hangs out in front. The shorts stay on just fine though.
Running Shorts
Very nice short for running but runs small in size - order up!
I’ve been wearing the Nathan Sports Men’s Essential 9" Shorts 2.0 for my gym sessions, and they’ve quickly become my go-to. The fit is comfortable, they move well during workouts, and the fabric feels light but durable. They don’t ride up or bunch, even during leg days or cardio. Simple, no-frills design, but they do exactly what you want a good pair of training shorts to do. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants solid, comfortable gym gear.
Nice Looking But Fits Like a Condum
These shorts are great looking, but if you buy them according to the size chart you’ll find they’re probably two or three size is too small for you. I returned a large which was clearly way too tight, even though other brand large sizes like Under Armor and Vuoiri fit me perfectly. I don’t have the XL size, and even it is quite tight, but I’m thinking I may have a use for it for some occasions.
Solid product
I purchased a few running shorts at the same time and these are overall the best, but there’s room for improvement. They don’t bunch or feel plasticity which like. Good pockets for carrying small snacks, keys, phone. I do wish the phone pocket was higher on thigh and a little tighter.
The perfect short for tall skinny runners
These are the only running shorts I wear. I have 8 pairs that I rotate through. Comfortable, long enough, not too baggy on my skinny legs, and a zipped back pocket for my Tesla key card. They're perfect. Please let me know when the large black are back in stock.
My dad loves then
Bought these for my dad and he loves them. I own a pair myself and they are the most comfortable shorts I own. I hope Nathan keeps making them because it looks like the only ones available are on closeout. My favorite shorts by far.
Nice shorts.
Fit is spot on. Material is excellent. My only concern is that there’s seams in the liner at the crotch area that may cause chafing since I use these mainly for running. Quality is good as always with Nathan products.
Great fit
My husband really likes these shorts for hiking and jogging. He enjoys the pockets, the length, and the fit. This is his 5th pair of these shorts. We have almost replaced all other workout shorts with these.
Love these shorts
These shorts are great - I got them instead of some Lulu shorts and they feel really quality. The liner is nice and doesn’t rub weird or anything. Also I feel like the athletic cut fits me really well.
