Excellent quality and great fit. Material weight and cut suited to warm conditions as they stated. Bought small which was a perfect fit for my 180cm 62kg slim frame! Good leg length.
Jumped in with a 6hr ride (indoor), no issues! Not ideal to break these in like that, but I really wanted to see how these would respond. I’m not that picky, but I still was impressed with the feel and movement on my older seat, and no complaints where it counts. The bib length is much longer than I’m used to, but doesn’t restrict like I thought it would. The bottom cuff can still grab the leg to stay fitted. The upper bib is tall which will make future outdoor nature breaks a bit more challenging, but not a deal breaker. The straps are supple enough and still hold the bottoms snug. I like!!
Great for really hot weather or super warm riders, though personally I found the chamois less cushioned than top-end endurance shorts from assos and castelli - hence the 4* rather than 5*. The fit is sensible (unlike those other brands I mentioned which come up small), so a medium is perfect for my 72kg 177cm build. Definitely well made and good quality, but so they should be at the price point.
While I had a difficult time finding the right size, I'm very happy with these bib shorts. They are so soft and comfortable! My new favorite! If it helps anyone, I'm 5'11", 158 lbs and a size M fit best. I initially got a size L, and they fit fine everywhere except the thighs just above the knee where they were too loose. If you don't have chicken legs like I do, a size L might work for you.
I have many Le Col bibshorts and needed replacement as the others are well warm. These new ones have just been used in Cyprus. They were very comfortable and nice being lightweight in the heat performing really well with 400k and 8700m climbing. The pad I find really comfortable especially as I am a 92k rider. I would highly recommend and will probably get another pair.
I’ve owned numerous pairs of Hors Categorie bob shorts over the years, but never the lightweight ones. The last pair I purchased weren’t as good as previous pairs, from a fit perspective, but these are back on point! Perfect, comfortable fit & amazingly loads lighter than my other pairs, perfect for summer riding or in the spin room 👌
Sizing can often be an issue . Especially LaCol . I’m not a slim snake on a bike more of athletic build . I chose Large which unusually fitted larger than expected . The padding is not as good as I hoped . They are longer in the leg . Overall I don’t feel they are worth the full price . Good points are they are very lightweight .
They sure are lightweight. I hope I will not Puch my fingers straight through the material one day outing them on. Comfortable and a great light feeling once they are in use on the bike. I am 1,85 and 75 kg. Size L should be right but the suspenders are a bit short for my long back.
183 cm tall, 75kg, slim, inner leglength 89cm, size M fits fine. Leg length in the sports version reaches just above the knee, the hors version 5 cm higher. Fit is fine, for indoor spinning, short MTB rides etc. For longer rides like 100+ I go for ASSOS which have a thicker chamois
I know it's a very personal thing but I'd rate the pad as good as Castellis' best. Which is what i normally use. But material feels far better. With the discount code and sale price it was a great buy. Without those two incentives, a bit pricey.
