Puffer for Hiking

I received this Puffer for a Christmas gift. , so I haven’t been able to use it for a hike yet. However, I like it a lot so far. I wore it to walk the dog in freezing & windy Great Lakes & Mountain winter weather. Cozy warm, but not heavy feeling. The color is a nice yellow-not super bright yellow, but a nice burnt yellow color. It is bulkier than other coats, but I’m ok with that. It packs into itself nicely, so I can put in my backpack. I’m 5’9” and 170 lbs; ordered the Medium and it fits well. Arms hit at my base of my hand . I think a large would be too long in the arms I will probably wear a base layer and thin fleece under it Or wear a base layer, puffer and outer layer. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. I will know more when I have time to hike
