Nite Ize  RunOff Waterproof Phone Belt Pouch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love the Nite Ize Waterproof Phone Belt Pouch, but the only thing it did right was keep my phone from coming in contact with water. The first issue I had was cutting the string off that opens the zipper. Now, this was somewhat user error on my end, but to actually open and read the tag (attached to the string), which had further instructions on it for the zipper, I needed it off the string. Apparently, you are supposed to use that string to open the pouch. So I guess you’re just supposed to rip the tag off? I definitely am not the only one that has cut that string. I was able to tie it back on, but I feel like it was a design flaw overall. Again, it was partially my own error, but I thoroughly believe the design is flawed. With that said, neither the string nor the adjustable strap are waterproof. The strap was good quality, but if I am using the pouch for the purpose of being waterproof, I would prefer all of the components were. Finally, the touchscreen did work, which was great, but it left my phone screen looking horrendous when I removed it. (Picture included) I really wanted to love this, but it definitely needs improvements. Some improvements would be simple, like adding a sturdier piece to open the zipper that is waterproof.

The zipper is leak proof, I placed it underwater after testing per instructions. I was able to scroll my phone and take clear photos while in bag. The fit was great. I wire it to the side not around my neck. I will be investing in other items by this company.

What that also means is that it fits anything else up to that size that you want to keep waterproof, dustproof, and sandproof. Wallet? Sure! Passport? You bet! Pack of gum? Why not!? Note from your Grandma from when you were 8 years old that you've kept all these years because she said one day you would conquer the world? Absolutely! You can fit so many different things inside to keep them safe from water, dust, and sand. It's travel friendly with an adjustable strap that can be used as a cross-body or around the hip. It's lightweight and thin. Included in the box is a TruZip waterproof high-performance lubricant wipe to use on the TruZip waterproof closure. The clear front and camera windows are great for being able to use your phone while it is staying safely tucked inside the case. The material used for the pouch seems to dry fairly quickly after getting submerged in water. Overall, this is a must-have for any traveler setting out on their next adventure...and it would also work for the backyard pool adventure or the rainy day sports event.

It is definitely 100 % waterproof and kept my phone dry. I was surprised to see that it actually floats. No matter how many times I dropped it in the water, it just floated right back up. I was able to still use my phone through the bag and the screen didn’t lose any sensitivity!
