Not as pictured - baffling hood design
I'm wondering if I got a defective hoody, because the colors are not as pictured and the hood design is...weird. The main fabric color (sage) is darker than pictured, and there is a much lighter green mesh fabric around the lining of the hood and at the neck. The mesh around the neck doesn't seem to serve any purpose. I gather it's supposed to be cooling, but it effectively doubles the amount of fabric at the base of the hood and is a very uncomfortable material against the skin. It doesn't sit right when worn, looks odd, and seems to be poorly stitched on (see inside out photo). Very strange. Otherwise the fit of the hoodie is great and the material is very soft. It's a bit heavier than I expected (e.g., compared to Mountain Hardwear Crater Lake hoodie), but feels cool when worn.
Oversized but nice fabric
Returning a M for S. I've worn M in other Rab tops but this one runs very large. Nice fabric, good hood design.
