I bought these for running shoes. I am already in a running routine and have been using aftermarket insoles from another brand. On my first longer run (3-4 miles?) with the Blumakas a blister formed on the inside edge of my foot just in front of my foot arch. I checked the insoles and they have a somewhat sharp and stiff edge that I believe was causing the problem. I trimmed off the edge but then the insoles felt a little narrow or otherwise just uncomfortable. I didn't trust them to be comfortable for long runs and didn't want to get stuck with blisters miles from home. Also, the insoles are tacky (sticky) as advertised. I did not prefer this as you can't just slide your feet into the shoes because the friction grabs the bottom of your sock.
