Great right out of the box. Just returned from a short hike with kids at Shenandoah VA. 5 miles, some decent hills, shoes stick to rocks, don't slip uphill or downhill, and gave support when 30-lbs 5 year old needed to be carried. Wish I bought these for my European trip 2 years ago, I went with another brand at the time, had to by insoles, and just never felt 100%. They feel almost broken in now. Worth the extra $$
Recent purchase. Have worn around (2) consecutive days. I have plantar fasciitis and additionally bony growths on both insteps that cause pressure points that require different lacing patterns. Initial impression on trying them on was surprise how comfortable the boot feels. The front portion of my foot is not compressed which can aggravate the PF. I was concerned the lacing pattern would be an issue with my insteps. They are not! The lack of seams, tongue and the internal padding feels like I’m wearing a wetsuit (minus the H2O)! They can feel a bit on the heavy side but I also have had (2) pairs of Asolo Fugitive GTX that I have loved. I will definitely update after hiking this spring, summer and fall. Some might not like the look of them. They look like your favorite hiking boot had an affair with a bowling shoe. I kind of like that look (in orange)! So day two, no pain points, love the fit, love the look and they’re Gore-Tex! New favorite low cut hiker!
