Not up to Zamberlan Standards
No, I do not recommend this product
These are not what I've come to expect from Zamberlan. I have owned the Viox and Vioz Lux boots and they are second to none. The comfort and Italian craftsmanship are above and beyond any other footwear I've owned. These, unfortunately, are not on par. They are narrow and ill fitting. Very uncomfortable and the "exoskeleton" creates pressure points. Immediately returned.

Needed some modification for me
I have issues with my feet, and I have been wearing the Zamberlan 996 Vios for several years now, as they are the most comfortable thing I've ever put on my feet. I tried to get a lighter, smaller shoe or boots, and I tried some other of the Zamberlans, but they didn't have the ZWL last and they hurt my feet and didn't work for me. When I saw the EXOTrail come out this spring with the ZWL last, I immediately bought a pair. The polyurethane superstructure is extremely tough, and I think it's going to be great in the long run, but I was still getting some pressure points, just behind my little toe on my left foot that made them uncomfortable to wear. I got a shoe stretcher from Amazon and tried several times to stretch them, but I couldn't make the stretch take because of how tough the polyurethane was. I finally took them into a cobbler who had a power stretcher, and he stretched them for a couple of days. Now they are a perfect fit and everything that I dreamed they would be. The ZWL last is about the only thing that works for my feet, and I am very happy with these shoes now. I intend to get a second pair as well.
