Great shorts!

I was lucky enough to try on the Incendo shorts before purchasing. I tried on the XL and thought that they would pass for a more loose/baggy fit and look. They were roomy, yet appropriately proportionate for a 9” short. I am 220 lbs, 5’11” (sz 36x30 pants) and always face the dilemma of choosing between XL & L sizes. I then tried on the L, and was pleasantly surprised that they fit extremely well. The waist size was perfect and comfortable, with some room for expansion; and the length, seat, and leg width was neither slim or wide. I would describe the fit as a classic form fit, with plenty of room for movement, while maintaining a clean athletic drape. I’m really happy with these shorts! For more size comparison, a majority of my Arcteryx jackets are XL with 1 being a L (Beta SL).

Great allrounder

Nice comfortable and durable material. Super light. I bought these after ripping my Norvan 7" shorts bum sliding down some talus. These definitely seem to be a lot more abrasion resistant and generally more versatile. I wore a medium in the Norvan 7" and got a medium in these however I wish I got a large as these are less loose than the Norvan. I am usually around a 33" waist but have large legs. I like having pockets however, wish at least one was zippered. Will probably get another larger pair.

Website description incorrect.

Just received these shorts and must say how disappointed I am with them. I have the 7” version which I really like and the description of these 9” version sounded perfect for my needs. However, they do not have zipped hand pockets or a back flap pocket as described on the website, this really is poor and wasted my time and delivery costs. I would kept the shorts if they had matched the description as the quality is first class.

Hello there, we are also disappointed that the revised version of the Incendo Short 9" does not meet your needs. We have updated the Incendo Short 9" with drop-in open hand pockets for easier access and a more comfortable fit. We appreciate the time you took to leave a review, and we will make sure to pass your comment along to our design team.

Good re-design

Love them. The fit is More like 9" version before the 7"-with-zippers version. I much prefer this fit...not too wide in bottom nor bunchy in front. Finally a re-design that I enjoy. Still mad about Arcteryx changing the Atom and Delta to fitted, oh and the Cormac....lots of complaints and revisions for the Cormac. Just change it back to how it used to be 4 years ago???

Nailed it, All around Short!

Great all around short for summer, running, cycling, hybrid fitness etc. They nailed it on little details (ribbed/rubber tie string, left security pocket for phone/keys so you don't loose it on the trail). Would buy again and in more colours. Major fabric material update - breathable and fast drying.

Dependable shorts for any ocassion

Got these a few months ago and have used them for all sorts of purposes: trail hiking, running, casual everyday wear. They've been great for each activity. I especially like how lightweight and breathable they are, while being durable enough to handle some outdoor adventure.

5 star quality

The quality is exception. Feels really cool in the warm weather. So good, I bought a second pair to go with my Arc’terx t shirts, long sleeved tops, socks and trainers ☺️

Great Shorts !

These shorts are lightweight, durable, dry fast. I have 2 pair. They work great for hiking, but look good enough to wear around town too.
