Goes together easy. Holds up well, took two heavy e bikes on some bad highway in AZ, barely flinched. Swing arm works wonderfully, you can load the one side with it swung open and the other side when closed. Swing arm definitely comes in handy when emptying the back of the Sprinter van as well. Spend the extra money on the swing arm it's worth the convenience. Only negative is the locking cable system is pretty cheapish but not worth complaining.
Great product. Works with a Defender that has a tire on the back of it. Highly recommended for this vehicle due to the fact that it has a swing arm, so you can open the rear hatch and access your bags easily without having the bike rack impede your rear cargo area.
Great swing out rack. Still use my other Yakima swing out from almost 20 years ago! Great company!
