Better deal when you bundle!
When looking at multiple fire pit options, the bundle is what sold me on Ignik versus their competitors. Definitely more bang for the buck. Buying all these items separately (even with another brand) will cost you way more!
Excellent!
Originally, I was hesitant on buying this because of the cost but I’m glad I did. The cover is very high quality and the growler looks great. It makes it easier for u when we go camping and I can easily secure the growler on my molle panel in the truck bed. I definitely recommend this.
Very mixed.
First, if you need any kind of heat that isn't the hottest, don't bother. From red to orange is such a drop off that there is almost no heat at all, and therefore useless. Second, I put these into the zippered compartment of a pair of fairly light winter gloves. Even on the red setting, I could barely feel any heat, especially for fingers. For those of us with Reynauds, fingers go first, and if I can't feel anything on the back of my hand, my fingers are toast. If I want warm hands, I have to hold them with my bare hands. So, if you want to do anything with your hands, you're out of luck. And you have to keep moving them around to warm your fingers, then your palm, then your fingers. So, yeah, good idea, but folks, not in practice. I have better things to do on a hike with my hands than hold too-hot heaters, which are too cold if I turn them down a notch. I was genuinely hopeful. In actual practice these are a real disappointment. I'm going back to my Seirus gloves, which DO warm my fingers and have three consistent settings which work.
Easy peasy in a can
Got a chance to use my Firecan out in South Dakota recently. They had an open fire ban in campground I was staying in. We sat around it almost every night enjoying the ambiance of the little can.
This is going to be perfect!
We loved the idea of a combination fire pit and grill. Anymore, there are so many areas that don't allow wood or even charcoal fires. Many that do allow them don't sell firewood. And many areas don't allow gathering of wood. Thus the benefit of a fire pit. We still have some learning to do with cooking on the grill feature, but it's going to be handy. (I'm tracking the usage to see just how much propane it goes through in typical use, but so far, it seems quite efficient.)
SOLID Firecan Rocks!
These Ignik Rocks are a great addition to our Ignik Firecan Deluxe. Rocks are very solid and much heavier than other "lava" rocks we have used before. The rocks really improve heat distribution from the Firecan and leave enough room for hose storage too. Super product - thanks Ignik!
Great idea
Great way to have portable fire plus with the added option to grill, haven’t used the grill yet but looking forward to it, the bon fire option is great I have used it puts off nice amount of heat and is quick and easy to use.
Great little box
It's the size of an ammo box and works like a charm. Everything works as advertised. There is more than enough heat for four people. It light weight, sturdgy and I think will bring enjoyment for years to com
THE HOT SEAT!
BACKSIDE HEATED PAD XL Is the perfect size. I’m 6’3” this fits perfect on my Helinox Savanna Chair keeps my backside warm at the campfire. Highly recommended a must have.
