I loved this boot! As someone who focuses on ice climbing and mountaineering as a sport, I have gone through a lot of different boots over the years. This newest version of the Aurai is on par or better than a lot of the alternatives, but cheaper! As a consumer this is amazing. If I were compare it to one of my other boots, I would say it feels similar to the Phantom Tech, except the Aurai Evo is wider in the forefoot when loose, and has better lacing system. The lacing system really does work super well, and locks down the forefoot quickly when you want it to.
