I was glad to see that the stack height is lower in the 15s than in the 14s. This shoe has the usual Kinvara zippy feeling and the simple upper that I've loved since my first pair of Kinvara 7s many years ago. The 14s weren't bad shoes and I loved the sparkly uppers, but this model felt more like a throwback to the older Kinvaras that were so light and comfortable. I'm hearing that stack height in the 16s coming in June 2025 will go down even further so I'll be waiting to purchase that model later this year. Again, this is a very good Kinvara that is a departure from the higher stack height of the 14s. Actually, I don't think there's ever been a bad Kinvara model except for a tweak here and there.
The best shoes that I have ever found for my feet. I have high arches w/ a wide toebox but a normal-sized heel and I also have plantar fasciitis and hammer toe on my right, so saying that finding long-wearing comfortable shoes that I can actually walk in is an understatement. The Saucony Kinvara is custom-made for me. It has a superb arch support that fits exactly in my arch, its deep padding gives a comfort level to my feet that I never thought that I could achieve w/ my plantar fasciitis and it's wide toe box lets me walk as fast as I want w/out jamming my toes into the ends of the shoe but it doesn't slip in the heel at all. I own 6 pairs of this model and I will be buying more.
Completely different than my beloved 13’s. I didn’t even bother trying the 14s because of the cushioning and negative reviews. I find the 15s super stiff, very cushiony and the toe box is so narrow my left toe always hurts. The cushioning is plush (I’m used to being able to feel every rock I step on) making longer runs more comfortable for the soles of my feet…. But the narrow toe box = pain in other areas. I haven’t been able to find a replacement for the Kinvara 13, sadly the 15 isn’t cutting it… despite having 3 pairs to give them a solid chance. They have increased my pace somehow though… they’re pretty snappy. I do feel nervous in the rain as they don’t grip wet roads that well.
So disappointed. My husband bought Saucony shoes and was so happy he converted me to try them too.I am sending them back. For the price the quality looks poor, the soles at the bottom are so soft and squishy, I can't imagine that they will even last a year, compared to his hardened soles, it doesn't even look like the same company makes them. These soles are high, I could've bought Hooka's for how high they are and also narrow, which is a concern for me since I have torn ankle ligaments a bunch of times already and need a sole that is broader than my foot not almost narrower.
I wore Kinvara's since the third version of the shoe. I tried the 14's and could not wear them due to the instability of the platform and general fit. I just tried the 15 and while they are better than the 14, they are a far cry from the earlier versions of this show. Why did Saucony feel they need to fix a shoe that wasn't broken? If you want to take on HOKA (which many people cannot wear, me being one of them), then make a separate shoe. Why did you completely ruin the Kinvara? I jumped ship to Brooks although I would chose the old versions of the Kinvara over that brand any day. You have just forced me to look elsewhere. Please go back to your roots on this shoe. I will be the first in line to buy it!!
Never written a product review before but for the Kinvara 15s I have to. Never met a better shoe. I've put over 600 miles on these bad boys (including some trail miles) and they're absolutely invincible. Great for runners that like a light shoe with lots of road feel and a normal to narrow toe box. Transitioned from a slightly higher drop to these, which has been great because with these as my baseline I can run in zero drop or a higher drop without feeling like I'm way out of whack. I'll be sad to see the 16s come out because I just love the 15s so much.
I have worn Kinvaras since they first came out. I was very disappointed in the 14s as they were getting to be like HOKAs which I cannot wear due to the instability of the cushion. I could not wear the Kinvara 14 due to it. Then I tried the 15's and they are very stiff and rigid. Yes they got rid of some of the cushioning but the 15 is stiff and forefoot is very narrow compared to previous Saucony. I just went out looking for old 13s online to buy now as I am not able to wear the 15s comfortably. Sigh. Please go back to version 13 or before!
I have been a Kinvara fan since the 7th iteration and was SO disappointed in last year's version, that I stopped wearing them altogether and went back to the drawing board to try and find something that could replicate an inkling of the love I had for the Kinvara! I'm so delighted to say that the Kinvara 15 re-converted me to Kinvaras! The upper is much improved from last year, and I much prefer the fit of the 15. By no means is it a loose or roomy upper, but the toe box is wide enough to avoid blisters. Likewise, the fit feels "race ready", which have supported me for up to 16 mile long runs. If you are looking to get back to basics in a shoe that rekindles your love for a time when running shoes did not have bells or whistles, this is the shoe for you!
I have never written a review before but these shoes are beyond disappointing for me, they are dangerous. I have been running for about 15 years and have been a solid loyal Saucony fan for 14 of them. Once I discovered kicks that worked, a Suacony neutral with 4mm drop, I never had to worry about finding a great shoe. This all changed with the Kirvana 15. With less than 12 miles on them, I am sore in my joints FOR WEEKS. I thought I was getting old and had lost the ability to run......NOPE, just terrible shoes that jar the blazes out of your ankles, knees, hips and back. They feel like they are made for a pronater - there is a hard push in part of the arch and into the ankle. Horrible, absolutely awful I am taking them back and shopping for a new brand.
