I bought two pairs and they leak a small amount as socks are moist. This is only well shoveling snow so dont think they will pass the water test. I even water proofed them and let them sit for a day before using. Not impressed.
very uncomfortable, the left shoe has a hard fold in the area of the laces that is constantly stuck when walking. Also the exterior material seems used despite being new
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my Timberland Boots in Wide fit two months ago and I'm absolutely loving them! I went for the Wide version because I have really broad feet, and honestly, these are the first boots that feel genuinely roomy and comfortable from day one. No pinching, no break-in period at all - I put them on and they felt perfect even with thick socks. Highly recommend!!!
I hate to pile on, but the Keele Ridge are pretty much what the other reviewers have been saying they are. Walked one mile a day in them each of the first two days and then wore them to work the third day and put in six miles. Slight foot fatigue at the end of the day but no hot spots or soreness. I already had a new pair of Timberland Men's Mt. Maddsen's but the Keele were definitely more comfortable out of the box for me. Build quality looks to be very good, though I prefer round hiking style shoe laces and replaced the flat laces that came with both pairs before wearing them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the same Timberland shoes for everything! To go to work, to take walks, to go out. They are just so comfortable and light. They are easy to clean and even though I use them a lot they are still in good condition. Love them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product so much that I bought 2 pairs. My first choice of shoes or boots is always Timberland. That's the real deal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a 67 year old teacher. I am living in Yangon, Myanmar. These shoes keep my feet dry during the monsoon season. They are comfortable and enable me to teach on my feet the entire day, lower back problems not withstanding. They look great with khakis or jeans. They wear well. They are comfortable for walking the streets of Yangon, or any other city that I am visiting. A great investment in comfort year round, whether at work, about town, or traveling. And, again they keep my feet dry in the monsoon rains of south east asia.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these shoes for just about everything because they are light weight, have good arch support, are waterproof and work with any trousers I may want to wear with them. Bought them originally for travel and now use them daily. As soon as my old pair wore out after 2 years of use, I bought two more just to have a back up. Thanks to the manager at the Timberland store on Newbury St. in Boston; she introduced them to me two years ago when I was in a quandary as to what to get and where to find it--excellent customer service.
This is a very comfortable pair of shoes that is good for hikes and everyday wear. Quite stylish and fits well with jeans especially. The exterior is quite durable and looks quite the same after many hikes. However, I am disappointed with the quality of the mesh lining at the heel. After only half a year, the mesh has already torn and left an opening 2 inches in diameter. Overall, this is a great pair of shoes and I would highly recommend this. Only the quality of the mesh lining prevents me from giving this 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautifully made shoe using quality materials and craftsmanship. However, when one cinches up the laces to get a snug fit over the top of the foot, the leather at the base of the shoe's tongue bunches up slightly creating a convex wrinkle at the junction of the bottom of the lacing races on one side or the other. This is a design flaw. It may only be cosmetic; however, it also may, over time, result in a poor fit and subsequent problems for the wearer. Timberland, and potential buyers, take heed.
