Best of Both Worlds

I've had the PD-A530 dual sided (flat or clipless SPD) on my bike since about 2014. I really like having the option to just take a short ride with normal shows using the flat side of the pedal and then clipping in on the longer rides with the "clipless" side. The only thing that bothered me, and it was a minor bother, is that I wish the size of the flat platform was a bit larger and wish it had removable pins. By accident I came across this newly released version of the Shimano dual-sided pedal earlier this summer, the PD-EH510, and it had exactly what I wanted. A wider platform, removable pins, and a very nice look in my opinion. This pedal paired with the new multi-entry cleat from Shimano (MT001) is a fantastic combo and I highly recommend it to those that are searching for a dual-sided, multi-purpose pedal.
