10 Hours? More Like 1 Hour — Totally Misleading Battery Claim!”

I bought the Soundcore Liberty 5 specifically for its '8/10-hour battery life.’ In reality, I only get around 1 hour of playback. This is extremely disappointing and feels like false advertising. Definitely not worth it if you need good battery backup

good earbuds

I'm happy owner of Liberty 5 and Space a40. Both of these earbuds are fabulous in my opinion, but why 4 stars? Simply, I bought Liberty 5 just for "in ear detection" and better control options. Space a40 are annoying when they are out of ears and still playing having very sensitive control system. If Soundcore will make Space a40 pro with control system similar to Liberty 5, I will be first buyer. Soundcore, please, think about that 😀

Their Best Headphones Yet But For One Thing...

I've worn Liberty headphones for a number of years and I always recommend Soundcore to people looking for new headphones. With the Liberty 5 the battery life is superb. The noise cancelling is the best yet. They really are exceptionally good value. However, whoever changed the controls on this model from the Liberty 4 needs to be locked in a cell and made to watch Seinfeld on a constant loop for a year. With the Liberty 4 you just tapped the stems to move tracks on, increase/decrease volume etc. With the 5 model you have to pinch the stem. Not only is this hard to do (I frequently cannot find the right zone on the stem and can never feel a groove), when I do do it often moves the earbud and so reduces pressure and thus whatever I'm listening to stops playing. I don't know what problem Soundcore thought they were solving with this change. If you had the previous touch control system on these headphones you'd have a world beater.

The best new midrange earphones??

I’ve been using these earbuds for a day, and they are truly exceptional. The sound quality is remarkable—crisp, clear, and immersive, with a robust bass that delivers depth without overwhelming. Rather than feeling intrusive, the audio experience is akin to having discreet, high-fidelity speakers positioned near your ears, creating a seamless and captivating soundstage. The case features a sophisticated matte finish that resists smudges and maintains a clean appearance. However, the glossy interior and the earbuds themselves tend to attract dust and scratches, requiring careful handling to preserve their pristine condition. Opening the case is a delightfully smooth and satisfying experience, so much so that I’ve found myself repeatedly engaging with it throughout the day. The noise cancellation exceeds expectations, effectively eliminating ambient distractions and providing a serene listening environment. These earbuds offer an outstanding combination of design and performance, making them a pleasure to use.

Buy something else.

Only seem to last around 2.5 hours on a full charge. Left side dies at about double the rate of the right.
