So far, after an hour plus Walk with the dog on mixed surfaces (concrete, dirt, gravel), good results. I would not recommend these for wide feet, But they have a decent sized toe box for my medium to narrow feet. I really appreciate the not hideous colors, laces that stay laced, the extra lacing hole at the ankles. Basically I was looking for a combination of stability and a. firmer cushion that will be NOT be completely kaput in 4 months. That was definitely the case with Hokas, Altras, and to a lesser extent, the Brooks Cascadia. I think these are going to do the trick for everything except hiking trails that require ankle support or rock-resisting hard sole. Love that they are pfas free.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this shoe to run large. I was hoping for a tennis shoe to wear with or without socks but this one was too big to wear without socks. It ran pretty long, I have an entire inch from my big toe to the end of the shoe. I ordered my usual size, 9. 5. My heel slips up and down when I walk. I Have to wear socks to take up the extra space and added a padded insert. I don't find them that comfortable for walking any distances but am wearing them to the gym for weights no cardio work and they are fine. Not worth sending back.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the Leak Speed hiker is doing the job. I wear them to do chores, check my fields, walk the dog, etc. I am 78 and started having some foot problems a few years ago. Used to hike as much as 30 mies in a day around Lake Tahoe. I alternate between the Leiki and my Targhees. Have tied other shoes, but these are the best I have found. Like the olive color as it doesn't show the dirt.
I’ve worn Keens size 9.5 for years, but these run large. Size 9 fits me perfectly. I love the green color.
