Warm & Springy
These slippers give one Merino wool warm, anti-stink, breathability & soft-enoughness. A bit more than a touch of spring in the soles is something I have never felt in a slipper & feels delightful. How will they wear over time? I can't say. As I dwell in Southern California these slippers will get only three weeks of use a year at most.

Love smart wool. I hope they figure out the size.
I wear a 11 1/2 or 12 depending on the brand. After 6 rounds of chemo that was very successful I have neuropathy in my feet leaving them feeling cold in the evenings. I love smart wool products how ever could not be more disappointed in the sizing. NOT EVEN CLOSE. XL says 11 1/2 to 14. My toes are jammed at the front of the slipper in the XL. From the feel of the product it looks like they would be perfect for my issue to bad they just do not fit.

comfortable and warm, but runs small.

These slippers are comfortable and warm, but run small. I wear a 10.5-11 men’s, and the large are supposed to fit to 11.5. I will be returning to size up.

Very nice booties

These are very soft and warm, lightweight, easy enough to put on and even easier to quickly take off. Despite being so soft and pliable, they keep their shape well and are secure on my feet, no problems walking on variety of floor surfaces, no-slip outsoles feel secure. As others noted, the fit is much smaller than indicated - my normal foot size is wide 11+, and these in size XL are basically exact fit, despite being designated as 12.5 and larger. My big toe is touching the fabric, but not uncomfortably so. To note: the insoles are part polyester, and I do have a bit of burning sensation in the bottoms of my feet while wearing, as my skin is sensitive to it - then again, I have the same sensation while wearing some of my (mostly) wool socks. Anyway, after stomping around for a while my feet got more used to it, and putting in some soft insoles is also an option.

It's never dumb to be smart

I happen to be someone who wants a shoe/slipper for every application. While this isn't my warmest "around the house" footwear, it's the perfect choice for my winter morning stretching routine. The flexible sole grips well and the bootie breathes just the right amount to avoid overheating. Extremely comfortable and well made confirms why I've been a Smartwool fan and continue to be.

Perfect indoor slipper for hardwood

Bought these in XL (I’m a size 12) and they’re exactly what I wanted. Super warm and cozy, but they still breathe so my feet don’t overheat. The grip on hardwood is excellent—no sliding around—and there’s enough cushion to be comfortable walking around the house. I wear them strictly indoors and they’ve been fantastic.

Like wearing warm, cozy socks

These slippers remind me of the days--long past--when I wore "footy pajamas." Exceptionally comfortable, they feel like I am wearing really warm, cozy socks. Clearly made for indoors, I wear them (during our MN winter season) all through our house--whose dog-proof laminate floors are often cold. They're great.

Awesome but sizing wrong.

These are awesome. However, the sizing chart is wrong. It showed a large would fit perfectly. I had to return them. I got the extra large and they are still a little bit small but I’m seeing if I can tolerate my toes pushing against the end.

Comfy wool

Warm and comfortable. Shape is pretty amorphous with no difference between left and right other than the smart wool tags. Great for shuffling around the house, but only good for indoors.

Check the size

Check the size. I wear a size 12 shoe. I bought X-Large. Suppose to fit size 12 - 14. They were too small. They look to be good, but had to return them - just too small.
