I bought this backpack to replace my old Pop Quiz Herschel bag that fell apart. I was super excited to get a new bag, in a shade of pink no less, but was very disappointed. The color did not give rose at all, it was very heavy on the ash. The material felt very cheap & thin; a lot less sturdy than my previous backpack. The side pockets were a plus & so was the laptop sleeve, however, the laptop sleeve felt very thin and not the best for keeping a laptop secure. Maybe I am expecting too much as this is my first Classic backpack, but it did not live up to my expectations coming from Pop Quiz. Returned the backpack since it felt like too much money for the quality. Had to pay for return shipping, so I wish I bought it elsewhere and were able to return for free.

Really disappointed by the quality of the bag. The fabric feels super thin and flimsy, definitely not worth the price. There are other bags on the market for the same price and some even cheaper with better quality. The only thing it has going for it is the colors. I got one in the sea green and burgundy for my friend. Then the inside pockets are laughable, only a laptop pocket and then that’s it, no other compartments. Would not be recommending this brand to anyone.

I wrote a review for this bag over 2 years ago and I just checked to see it was gone! So here it is I got this bag through their warranty (thank you herschel) but was incredibly disappointed to learn that it was in fact not the same bag as my original. The iconic inside liner being gone was sad, but the worst part was going from 2 pockets to 1. I literally see no reason to downgrade the bag for this. Disappointing.

I really don’t understand whats so special about this backpack. I got this as a replacement for my old work book bag, and for the price I’m pretty disappointed. I got the 26L and it is massive. The material is extremely stiff and the zippers are awful; they’re hard to zip and unzip and get stuck every now and then. I really wish I would’ve gone with Another brand. This one definitely Is not it.

Bought this for my daughter for her first year of high school. She had the Nova that she used all 3 years of middle school. Great quality and packs a lot and will probably last a few years too. I love that I can throw them in the wash. Wish there were more pockets. This one only has one outer pocket for her water bottle.

Great Durable Backpack

Bag is great, I purchased both the regular size and the extended size to fit a 17 inch laptop. Both backpacks are great and canvas material is very durable. I purchased them almost 1 year ago and they still are brand-new condition. Zippers do take some breaking in when you first purchase but do not seem sticky/flimsy.

shows that it has a side pocket but it actually doesn’t?? i bought this exact bag and in the video it has a side pocket but why does mine not have any? there are not any other bags that look like this. and i didn’t get the mini one so why? its such a massive inconvenience especially since i’m a student.

I purchased the green backpack for my son. Within one month the backpack had significant fading. It started turning brown. I am giving it 4 stars for the great customer service as well as the durability/functionality of their products. I always purchase Hershel backpacks for my kids.

I bought a Classic 20L backpack to replace the original one I have had for about 10 years. The new model is decidedly cheaper in construction and quality which is quite disappointing. It feels like something from a discount retailer and is not value for money in my opinion
