I'm used to trail runners for hiking, but a trip I'm doing soon requires waterproof boots. I have sensitive feet and need a slightly wide fit. The vast majority of brands I tried (Asolo, Zamberlan, Danner) were way too firm or narrow for me, and even the cushier and/or wide options (HOKA, Altra, Topo) didn't work for me either for toebox volume or pronation reasons. These check all the boxes, and — unlike a lot of others — actually look great. I'm thrilled I took a chance on these!
These are incredibly comfy thanks to the cushion on the sole, but despite a great fit, these gave me the worst blisters I've ever had. My heel was locked in well, but the heel has no cushion at all and just rubs like crazy.
