Great fit
I am a wallet minimalist. This is a big wallet, but is shaped in a way that isn't uncofortable to carry. Additionally, I was able to slide my small year planner and orange pen in. The wallet is smartly constructed of a material that feels good in my hand and durable. Small details like cutting the spot for the pen and others make it feel very ergonomic, not something I thought that I would ever say about a wallet. I have always thought of wallets as inconvenient and a pain the ... but I can honestly say this one makes me want to have it near me much like I have felt in the past about a cell phone. Unlike a cellphone, appointments, to do lists, etc. , are quickly available in a physical and easy to preserve way. I don't think I will ever curse at this wallet for a lost password or vague permission it needs to access my info.
Great!
I love it for how slim and compact it is and the TPU coating feels so durable. Plus a Portage Pen fits so satisfyingly in the spine. If there was one that could accommodate a side bound notebook or the pocket planner on the right side, I'd buy that in a heartbeat. I don't use it as a wallet, but wish there was a Monsoon cover exactly like this with more sleeves for pocket notebooks instead of card slots.
Solid wallet, great for work.
Rugged, only thing I wish for would be a pen slot. Although I think other models have them this is the size i needed. This works great for work, I can keep my pocket calendar in it along with my work credit card, seperate from personal cards. The slots work perfect with the amount of business cards I aquire in property management/maintenence I always have them on hand.
Nice little wallet
Overall I'm very happy with this. Enough room for cards and a notebook without being too bulky. Two minor issues I wish could be improved. There's no actual pen loop so the pen clip over the spine isn't as secure as it could be. I also wish it could fit the slightly larger stapled notebooks instead of the ring bound ones so it could be slimmer.
Very functional
Material feels very nice and the wallet is a nice size. Also fixes a complaint I had with the readiness pen. Since the readiness pen easily pokes holes in pants with the sharpened tip, the pen pocket in this wallet keeps that tip floating in space so it's not poking any holes, glad this wallet could solve my readiness pen problem!
Great for keeping everything in one place
I switched from a ridge wallet, this is obviously much larger, but still easily fits in a front or cargo pocket. I've been using it around a month now and love this new wallet. If you're thinking about it, just try it. It's unbeatable especially at this price.
Slow down, be creative!!
If your hobby or work takes you outside in all sorts of weather and you need to make notes - then this is really a great tool. I do landscape photography - often in humid or wet conditions - using the wallet and notebook to make location notes - that complements the data on the photo files. Okay, I know some will think that buying and using a waterproof paper is over the top, but, have you ever made notes, stuffed them in a pocket, endured rain and the notes have bled out and are unreadable ? If you have, and you are reading this, then you already know the value that this wallet and note pad will have … no list notes/impressions because you scribbled on paper that got wet … For those who say “I can do that on my phone” - sure you can … but you cannot better noting down information in “the old way” … Making notes that will last on waterproof paper is a way of slowing down. So buy the wallet, slow down, be creative … knowing that it will be there even if you left them in a pants pocket that went into the washing machine .. (try that with a phone!).
Largely as expected
Love the material and color. I am using for the yearly planner. Unfortunately a writing utensil will not fit down the spine with this notebook which is why I am giving four stars. If it as a little bigger it could fit a pen/pencil
Just what I was looking for
Wallet is the right size for what I was looking for to use while working on wildland fires. Fits cards, note pad and pen perfectly. The material seems durable.
Nice EDC addition
I find the size a bit large. Enlarging the wallet to accommodate a passport is not inductive to pocket carry. Otherwise a well made innovative accessory.
