Hydro Flask  Kids' Wide-Mouth Vacuum Bootle with Straw Cap and Bottle Boot - 12 fl. oz.

What I love about this bottle is the vent hole is actually a small hole which gets sealed tight when you close the lid. I have similar bottles that is a very tight port and mold can quickly grow there. I predict that this design will allow that part to dry out completely and help prevent this issue! Love the softer round straw and that it is covered when closed. As you would expect, it's well built. The lid does perfectly fit older HydroFlask bottles so I really do hope that they will start selling the lid separately so I can keep older bottles in rotation and give them a new life for my younger kid.

As you would expect, it's a well built bottle. One thing that I greatly appreciate is that the vent hole in the top is larger than most and I truly think that it will help prevent mold growth that I have dealt with in similar bottles from other brands. It hold ice well, has a large opening to clean and great colors. The added boot is great, my kid dropped it a few times always and it really does add some nice protection. What I hope to see offered soon- replacement lids and replacement parts the kids sip on. I tested it and this lid does fit my older hydroflask bottles. I prefer this lid for my younger kid and I would love to keep the older bottles in rotation. Please make replacement lids available- I would quickly buy two!

But my toddler prob dropped it at daycare and the top part of the cap came off and can’t be found… thought it would be more durable like the previous design. But I guess too many separate parts?

Water bottle leaks when lid is closed and locked. Started leaking during first use.

Plus the bonus is you can clean the straw and remove unlike the old design. I’m replacing my old flasks with these new designs
