Brighter than you can Imagine!
I purchased and installed the lightbar on my DEK just after it was released, so I added it after installing the DEK on my truck. WOW! The lights are so bright! I have used Diode Dynamics and KUAT racks before, so I knew both companies are the absolute best in the industry – and this lightbar is no joke! I really like the backlight option – I have amber and yellow light covers for the five lights, and they look great as marker lights. When I'm off-road or on back roads and can safely use the full lighting power – it's just amazingly bright. I can see any road hazards or animals (like deer) and feel so much safer with them on. Even with yellow or amber lens covers the lights are incredibly bright. The installation was very easy, too: I am not a "professional" but am a confident amateur mechanic and installed it easily. A shop could easily install it and most people who are comfortable following instructions could do so as well. Both Küat and Diode Dynamics have excellent, clear videos on their websites and YouTube that make installation a breeze. This version of the lightbar is also a great value – you're getting five PRO-level Diode Dynamics lights, which have one of the best warranties available. They look incredible and I am super happy with this upgrade!
