The Reactor sleeping bag liner is very soft and feather light on your skin, I barely felt it. The added warmth was subtle and felt just right without over heating you. I tend to sleep warm and this was ideal. The ability to place your arms inside or outside allows you to dial in the right temperature. It runs true to size, I'm 6' 2" 165 pounds and the regular says max height 6' 1" I do use a long sleeping bag but had no issues. The only negative I found was it fits close around the legs so its hard to side sleep and pull up one leg, if you move both it moves with you and never felt restricting. It did take a minute to wiggle my arms out and un-snap the opening. You could use it without snapping together but this was not something that should keep you from purchasing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used a couple of times, but so far I think this is a great liner. Warm, soft. I like the variety of sizes as well. It’s nice not to have excess fabric if you don’t require it. Arm “holes” are a really nice feature. I’ve not camped in cold enough temps yet to warrant using it inside my bag, but for what it’s worth, I’ve used it by itself in 65 ish degree (Fahrenheit) weather with a cotton blanket and was warm and comfortable. Zipper is smooth and glides easily. Cleans up nicely and dries quickly too. I’ve only washed it twice, but there is no pilling so far, so yeah. I’m not crazy about the color, but I don’t consider that a deal breaker. And if I could choose I’d add the draw cord at the foot of this liner too. It’s been is a nice substitute for a blanket in the camper and not having to crawl out to walk around would be super handy. (I think last year’s version of the reactor had that feature. I know the breeze still does). Despite those two little complaints, I’m happy with the liner and would indeed recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the material of this liner. Silk has always felt a bit clammy to me and the material they use here has a really solid warmth to weight. It’s also soft and when using with a quilt keeps you off your sleeping pad which is nice.
