Lightweight & Very Long Sleeves
Yes , I recommend this product
Very lightweight, waterproof, and breathable. The ability to move easily and not be constricted was my biggest goal. The sizing is generous, and easily fits my curvy figure. I would size down by one size if you are athletic build. The back of the jacket is perfect, a curved hem that hits me right under my rear. I will be using for backpacking and moderate ski days. Pack down size is tiny, and weight is minimal. Tempest Dark blue color is rich and really shows up as navy, so pick another color if you need high visibility! I love the scuba hood. However - this one is not short girl friendly. As you can notice in the model photos on the REI listing, even the REI model is swimming in the sleeves. The sleeves have an elastic cuff only, and they are about 6 inches too long on my 4'11" frame. There's no velcro to cinch the cuff tight enough. It's just those sleeves!
