Cuts the wind, wicks the sweat

The breathability on this jacket is great - obviously at a higher price point there will be even more breathable jackets, but this one for the price point is completely wonderful. Thoughtful hood elastic that keeps the hood on your head and peripheral vision available. Only 4 stars because the cuffs are larger as people indicated, but honestly, this kind of helps keep the arms from getting OVERLY sweaty. They could have added thumbhole loops here to hold the sleeves in place when super windy, but not a major concern. Doesn't stuff into it's pocket, but I wish it did, lots of coats for running do for easy packability in small vests.

This is for my athletic people!

This is a very nice jacket and you can already tell it was made for its literal purpose. That is to use and workout in inclement weather. Even to use to go for a nice walk outside with a mid-layer underneath it would be totally fine. Usually, I'm an XL in size due to the size of my chest and arms. When it arrived, I was excited to try on. It was snug around my chest and mid section, which was a bummer. So the jacket does run on the smaller side. I exchanged for a 2XL and it's been game ever since. Great quality, I got the burnt orange color for the "aesthetic" also.

Love the jacket, but had a size issue...

I wasn’t sure which size to buy, so I ordered both the L & XL to try on. I’m a 40-42in chest and found the XL was far too big and the L was marginally too small. I opted to keep the XL simply because it will provide enough room to layer up during the winter months. There is a huge size disparity between L-XL that needs to be addressed. Other than the size issue, I found the jacket to be very well made and reasonably priced like-for-like with competitive brands. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this product.

Not Salomon quality

I have used this for 3 different trail runs with temps in the 40s(F). Pros-does keep the wind out, not sure about wet. Fit is true to size, not slim like they indicate. Good looking. Cons-the most aggravating and subpar feature is the elastic around the sleeves and the waist is non existent. i have a 15 year old NF that has tighter cuffs and waist. They are completely stretched out so the waist is straight and lets in wind, the cuffs wont stay on your wrist and fall down past your hand. Come on Salomon.

Bonatti Cross Wind Jacket

I purchased this towards the end of last year. One of my favorite purchases. I had been wanting a windbreaker for my runs, and this fit the bill perfectly. Perfect for the cool, winter days, and even withstands rain very well with not being advertised as “waterproof.” Looks really great and is super light/comfortable. The zipper storage in the front is able to hold my iPhone which is a great addition to keep me hands free.

I am very happy I purchased this. I was looking for an alternate for the lighter weather and this item is perfect! It is exactly what I was looking for and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The quality is outstanding and it has already proven to be very versatile. I highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish alternative for the warmer months.

So solid and lightweight

I've taken this out for three runs in pretty nasty weather: 35F and rainy; 25F and snowing; 45F and windy and raining. It's kept everything out but my body can also breathe. It's not warm but you can layer with it. It also packs up super small. It has some weight at the top of the hood so that it will stay down on your head and isn't blown off. A quality choice for adventure.

Perfect fit and function

I got this jacket about a month ago and have worn it several times on windy cool runs. It’s extremely packable and light weight I fold it and put it into my pocket when it warms up. The fit is absolutely perfect and I personally haven’t had any issues with the sleeves riding up. If you’re looking for a light packable jacket for cool days, i recommend this one hands down!

Comfortably fit and good the wind and light rain

I added this to my backcountry trail running kit as an option for those chilly/windy mornings. It performs well, comfortable, almost snug fit but it's shaped correctly to move with you and easily goes over my fully loaded 12L adv skin running pack with two bottles and 1.5L bladder. It holds up well in light rain and I was able to shake off almost all of the water before stowing it when the sun came out. The added chest snap is nice to help lower your temperature, allowing you to keep the jacket from falling off while unzipped. It's not a waterproof rain jacket, so expect it to wet out fairly quickly in heavy rain. I'm a male, 5'10", 167lbs and I measure 34" around the waist with a tape measure. The Large was the right size for me. Medium would have been too small. The waist perfectly sized for running clothes (shorts/tights/etc). The zipper would be difficult to get started as the waist of the jacket is narrow.
