Comfy and breathable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love this hat, its usually my go to. Very breathable and light.
Loving it
I really Love it! Need more like this.
GOTO Training Hat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the hat you never thought you needed. Used to wear a normal ball cap before buying this and I dont know that I will ever wear another hat while running. It is amazingly comfortable and does everything it needs to do with keeping the sweat from dripping and the sun out of my eyes. The only down side to this hat is the excess on the strap flops around and can be annoying. I make sure I tuck it before going out on a run, but it would be that much better if it just had some sort of elastic restraint to secure the excess.
Love the size
At 4 ft 11 I am a petite person including my head. The last brooks hat I bought was a MCM hat because the reviews complained about how small it was. I loved the fit but did not love all of the questions about the marathon that I did run but back in 2010. I was so happy that this hat was offered in sizes. I got the s/m which is the best fitting hat that i have ever owned. Please keep offering hat sizes.
Perfect replacement for Sherpa hats
I loved Sherpa hats and was regularly buying those until they went extinct and I was sad that Brooks did not come up with a good replacement for those. The Base hat was okay but did not live up to the expectation. However, these Journey hats reminded me of Sherpa again. Fully recommend for long-distance running.
Good and plenty
I like that it is lightweight and flexible, with an easily-adjustable sizing strap in the back. What I don't like is that it is huge. I have a relatively large head with a lot of thick hair, so I ordered the L/XL rather than the S/M, but I am swimming in this hat. It is so deep that it pushes my ears down.
Pretty Good Hat
The hat produces an odd feel as wind goes through the mesh; the top of the hat "flutters" and produces an unpleasant sensation on one's scalp. While the hat has decent perspiration absorbing properties under many circumstances, it does not up to that task on humid days.
I like the hat, but it is two small for my head. My wife is going to extend the crown adjustment by and inch and then it should hopefully fit. I wish hat manufacturers would build in longer adjustment straps. I mean how much can it cost to make the strap a little longer?
XL perfect if you like it to cover a little of your ears
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] S/o complained the XL is too large. I have a normal sized women's head with lots of hair and I like that the hat grabs the top of my ears because once a hat flattens my hair, they stick out. I assume the M would fit like a normal hat, but I love this. I bought 2.
Another Great Hat from Brooks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Fit and material! Breathable and comfortable. I have lots of hats and several of them are Brooks, and this one is just as good as the rest. Brooks hats seem to stand the test of time, all weather, laundry, sweat they are certainly one of my favorites.
