Almost perfect

I love the jacket, it’s the perfect weight and has a lot of features I really enjoy, most of all the two button snaps so I can unzip it without it flopping. I wish the carrying strap was removable for the seasons where I’m not going to take it off mid-run or put it on mid-run, it’s bulky and sometimes sits really funny between my shoulder blades. The two circle loops that hold it could be like key rings or something so the strap could be removed easily without adding bulk. Swap those out and it would be perfect for me. In fact I might just clip the loops on mine and add in key rings myself.

Great looking and performing super light jacket

These are incredible lightweight jackets. Wearing them doesn't feel like you're wearing much but they handle the wind and light to medium rain very well. For my use, I cut off the long strap in the pouch on the back. It adds unnecessary weight, is visible through the jacket, and can be felt while the jacket is being worn. Easy enough to fix, and I'm sure there are people who appreciate the strap. Very clean looking jacket as well. The lowered part in the rear is nice. As near to a perfect jacket as I've been able to find. Hope they keep making them!

Light yet warm runners, top layer for cool weather

This is a well-made, light and useful runners jacket. Took it out for a run on a cold morning, and found that it was comfortable and added a nice layer of warmth. I appreciated the snap buttons, which allowed me to leave it partially open, without using the zipper, so that there was a slight ventilation. I think this will be a useful and versatile item for running in changing weather conditions.

Sleeves too short and non-articulated

Pros: lightweight, versatile; innovative chest snaps to increase ventilation (with zipper down) Cons: for me (155 lb, 6’1”, 30” waist, suit 38T), the sleeves are too short for my monkey arms in size M, and sizing up to L would be too big/sloppy in body; sleeves are straight and non-articulated (who runs with arms straight down at their sides?!), and carrying my arms at relaxed 90 degrees while running pulls the jacket at shoulders and upper torso. Uncomfortable. Might work for others, but ill-fitting for me.

My New Go-To Jacket!

I wanted to give it a 1-2 months before I wrote a review - LOVE this jacket. It's my go-to for running now. I live in Seattle and needed something for the rain. Will it hold in a downpour? Probably not, BUT it's great for light-medium rain and wind. I am 5'3 female and chose to get the XS Men's because I wanted more length in the jacket. (Brooks tops stop right at the hip for me, I feel bad for the tall women out there) I also, love the bright orange color - great for running in the dark.

Extremely average, not as great as all the hype

I thought I would love this jacket, but it is too warm. Every time I wear it I end up taking it off and tying it around my waist. Because of this I wear it as a casual jacket but not for running. I thought the snaps in the front would provide airflow if jacket was unzipped, but the fabric doesn’t allow that and the snaps are cumbersome to snap and difficult to unsnap. The idea is great but execution fails. I am disappointed that I spent a lot of money for a jacket I rarely wear.

Not up to par

Pretty disappointed in this jacket. I wore it for a run yesterday for the first time. The conditions were pretty nasty. Snowing with pretty high wind. The material protection and fit were fine but the zippers and hood ties are so small and flimsy they are almost impossible to use with gloved hands or cold fingers. Couldn’t zip or unzip pockets or the main zipper. The zippers are also so lightweight that they constantly snag in the storm flap or any other tiny obstruction. The pulls are so small they’re almost impossible to get a grip on. On the back end of my run I wanted to pull the hood up and again the drawstrings used to snug the hood down uses a peculiar retention device that’s impossible to adjust in cold weather. This garment will be fine for 45 degree rainy days but not well suited at all for colder windier outings. Pretty disappointed

Impressive-Worth Every Penny

A great addition to my running gear. Not only well-made, but also very functional for what it was designed for. Out of curiosity, I put this on over my blazer, it did not look bad at all. Thoughtful design and fit/look. It will not shield you from the cold, but function as a great weather breaking jacket with water/sweat resistance. I would have ordered another one just to keep it in a vehicle if I did not already have one in my car.

Next iteration could be great

Best and only good thing about this jacket are the little snaps that allow you to run with the zipper down without the jacket flying around. It’s an awesome and simple way to ventilate if you overheat without having to take the jacket off. Every running jacket should have these. It’s really an awesome idea. That said, the zippers on the jacket are terrible. They stick and are very hard to grab. There are no pulls on them. They get caught in the fabric all the time. Also, I would prefer a cinch at the waist. The internal pocket on the back which turns it into a little purse is a clever idea but fails in practice. The straps are very uncomfortable on your back and I had to cut them out. It feels like no one actually field tested this jacket. I wouldn’t buy it because of the horrible zippers alone. It could be an awesome jacket with better zippers.
