W High Point Long Sleeve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ready for life on the run! The W High Point Long Sleeve shirt will help you take your training to the next level. Great for any type of weather, the moisture wicking fabric and smooth stitching are just as comfortable from the first mile to the last. For me, looking my best means performing at my best. Despite fitting slightly small, the look and feel of the W High Point Long Sleeve will give you the confidence you can achieve your best in style. Overall, the Brooks W High Point Long Sleeve is a must have for runners of all types and abilities and is my first choice in all conditions.
Comfort and style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The W High Point Long Sleeve has a great style with extra long sleeves and thumb holes to keep your arms warm on runs. I love the purple color and simple design. I found that it was a little snug, but similar to a compression running shirt. The material is very breathable and comfortable! I was able to wear during a fun run and it was the perfect protection from weather while allowing air flow. The length of the shirt is great, along with the collar. I will enjoy wearing my W High Point Long Sleeve shirt throughout fall, winter, and spring running seasons!
Excellent layering piece but size up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this long sleeve in the cold December Chicago weather (30s) and I’ve found it is a great under layer. Initially when I put it on, I didn’t think I would like it as I could tell it had wool in it without even looking at the tag. After a few minutes of wear, I no longer noticed the wool (it usually feels scratchy/itchy on my skin). I think in the spring/fall weather this would work as its own layer, however it runs quite small and very snug in my opinion. My usual size small was too tight for me to wear this item alone. I’m 5’4 and 125 pounds. Plus it’s a little see though to begin with. Overall, great design and thumb holes always make this girl happy! The Brooks logo wasn’t my favorite… the design makes it look like it has faded.
Overall, great shirt!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The W High Point Long Sleeve will likely stay in my rotation of workout/every day clothes. It does run a little bit small, but otherwise the fit is nice. The material will be great for outdoor workouts when the weather is transitioning from winter to spring or fall to winter, when it is too warm for a sweatshirt but there's still a chill in the air. It would be great for layering as well, as the material is a bit on the thinner side and is breathable. This shirt would also be great for just casual wear, such as running errands and what not. I love the color and thumb holes are always a nice bonus! Overall, I like this shirt and will continue to wear it.
Comfortable, Light & Warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] W High Point long sleeve shirt is Very comfortable. I was looking for a lightweight running shirt for fall weather and this shirt is really good. It is very light but keeps me warm as it made up of wool but swart absorbing. I use this shirt for everything: sun protection on a long hike or while snorkeling, a base layer for skiing, a long sleeve tech shirt for trail runs, and sometimes just as a long sleeve shirt to wear under a puffy vest as daily wear. It's holding up beautifully and I find the fit very flattering.
Solid addition to my rotation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is comfortable and I love the thumb-holes! They make it so much easier to prevent bunching when I layer. It's getting colder during my runs/workouts so I appreciate having a light layer to throw on under my heavier clothes. This shirt works good as a base layer but, for me, is not a stand alone addition to by workout wardrobe. It is fitted, which is good as a layer and for reducing drag/flap, but I'd prefer it be just a touch looser. The fabric is fantastic- my skin is not wet and sweaty or irritated. The lilac/lavender color is pretty and I like that it is light enough to be seen but not white or neon. Overall, a great base layer and I anticipate more than one season of use!
Wanted to love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s just not my favorite. First, it runs quite small-I’m either a small or medium, and the medium is very snug. Even considering that this top is meant to be fitted and worn as a base layer, I find it runs small. Next, I found it a bit itchy. Possibly exacerbated by the fit, but it was a little itchy. It did a nice job of keeping my skin dry, but I found myself adjusting it during runs because of the fit and the itch. The color is beautiful, the concept is great, but this quickly went to the bottom of my cold weather running gear pile. One plus is the material doesn’t seem to hold onto odors the way poly blends do, always nice when your athletic gear comes out of the laundry smelling fresh again.
I love this shirt!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Brooks shirt!! It would be great for layering in the cold months outdoors. I’ve only worn it inside during functional strength training workouts! It doesn’t make me feel hot while I’m sweating, it actually keeps me cool. It washes well, and did not shrink in the dryer. I would buy this shirt again and again!
Runs small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The W High Point Long Sleeve is a great lightweight option for anyone who needs warmth and layers while being active. This shirt came in my normal size, but it’s disappointing because it runs very small. I do love the material that it’s soft and easy to layer under a vest or sweater while running outdoors. The sleeves are a great length and have a thumb hole option as well. However, the rest of the shirt is very tight in the shoulders and chest and unfortunately I can’t count this as part of my normal attire for exercise. The size that I received is my typical size, so I’m disappointed because I would probably have to size up for it to be comfortable. I did wear it under another sweater while I took walks outside and I like that it is lightweight yet it keeps me warm in the chill weather. However, with more intense exercise, I found it difficult to wear because the chest is so tight. If this shirt had fit better, I think I might have a different approach to this review. I love the color and the material. Just wish it would fit a bit better.
Nice for cold weather running
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shirt had a nice snug feel and is perfect for using either on it’s own or layering. It definitely keeps you warm outside while still allowing your skin to breathe when sweating. The material feels a little bit scratchy which is expected since it’s made from wool. The material is slightly see through. The sleeves have little holes for your thumbs to go through which is great for keeping warm in cold weather. I wish the the part of the sleeve that goes around your wrist was just a little bit tighter since it feels a little loose. Overall, it’s a great shirt for running!
