This is a great travel bag. So far we’ve taken it on multiple US trips, Hawaii, Germany, Equador and it’s held up well. It’s light weight, durable and good for a 2 week trip. We Own several older similar Osprey bags and have been pleased with them all.
The pack worked very well for my 2-week trip in France and Italy. I primarily used it as a roller bag; and I was able to deploy the backpack straps for hauling the bag up the stairs of century old buildings. This is a pack that is designed as a roller bag with the option to occasionally carry as a backpack. I am a 5'5" female and did not have problems carrying on my back. I did also appreciate both the top and side handles.
Senior lady Interrail traveller. I have used the 36l for the past 3 years and it’s been brilliant. Backpack I’ve used once, robust wheels on all types of rough terrain, side handle really useful. I also use the back pack strap compartment to slip a pair of sandals or light trainers in. Squishes in easy to tight luggage racks. I use packing cubes and one especially for my skirt & dresses which is the last thing packed (not really a trouser person). All very organised, I don’t need to unpack. I love it.
The handle snapped off. Someone stumbled and fell on it. Handle snapped off so easily. Daughter is in Vietnam so is unable to return it. Too heavy for a young girl to put on her back. Asked for a new one so that we can send it out with a friend who is going but Osprey won’t do this as they need to see the old one. They can obviously see it’s broken from the photo. Really disappointed
My first experience of a large wheeled suitcase as I've used a backpack previously and I'm very impressed. Easy to pack and find things again without fully unpacking. The suitcase handle and wheels both seem really sturdy and well-made and it was easy to lift and carry when needed (though I've not used the rucksack straps to carry it yet).
