I bought this for the lightweight and trampoline frame feature. The frame gives the backpack amazing rigidity and really keeps my back cool and well ventilated, but with a big caveat being that the bottom corners really dig into the sides of my upper glutes, especially when carrying a 3liter reservoir. The hip belt also offers limited weight transfer and is mostly used for stability.
Great day hiking bag. The trampoline frame keeps the back from getting as hot as packs that sit directly on the back. Plenty of adjustments in the suspension to find the correct fit. The elastic hip belt is a nice addition on a smaller pack that moves with you and keeps the pack firmly attached.
