Fantastic All Arounder

The Monsoon Hardshell is a great one quiver hardshell. It sits right in the upper middle in terms of durability, weatherproofness, and packability compared to all the rest of the hardshells currently on the market which makes it a great all arounder. I reviewed this jacket and had ample amount of days out skiing in wet maritime snow in Alaska and the jacket proved better than expected in all regards. I really enjoyed the features like the pit zips and harness comparable pockets. It is also a very high quality jacket that can definitely hang with jackets $100+ from other brands making it great bang for the buck. It was equally great for ice climbing, skiing (touring/ mountaineering/ resort), and will make a great summer jacket for wetter places like here in Alaska. The only con I found was it had a slightly odd cut, a bit narrower in the waist and slightly baggier in front of the torso.
