Peak Design  Small Wash Pouch

I've had a lot of toiletry bags but the larger PD bag has been my favorite. My wish was to have a smaller version for shorter trips and to fit better with my Peak Design Travel Bag. Out of nowhere they announced this bag and I snatched one up as soon as I saw the email. Three trips later, it is everything I wanted in a smaller toiletry bag-- origami dividers, dedicated toothbrush pouch and washable. The best part is how well it works with my travel bag too. I can have a medium and small cubes then add this at the top of the bag area. It's fantastic!

Phenomenal bag. Stands upright. Hanging hook with items accessible. Mesh divider for better organization. Cons: the hanging hook is too tightly attached, it's hard to get out and back in. Materials are a bit overbuilt if you're into light travel and it doesn't compress as space efficiently as it could because of the padding. Handle is not a useful value add, this would be better as an external zipper. I'd like to a see a redesigned hook, UHWE fabrics, a slightly more rectangular cubic shape to pack more space efficiently within a travel bag or a tad narrower base & shorter height, an external zipper instead of the current handle.

This product extends my sort of love/hate relationship with most of the PD products I own. It’s mostly well thought out and a useful size for short trips and life in the van. As with most Pd products, I feel like the stitching quality could be better (higher stitch-counts). Really my main frustration is the use of the metal hooks with squared off edges that with scrape paint and leave marks on many things you’d hook it on. Considering I use this mostly in my campervan, it’s annoying to have to worry about that happening, and limit where I can hang it. Would be better if it had a protective coating on it or was a different material.

I really wanted to love this bag. I have a lot of other PD products and they never seem to disappoint. However, this bag is just too small for me. Unless you are using a simple toothbrush and travel sized everything, than you need a larger bag. If I wanted to pack an electric toothbrush, full sized deodorant stick, toothpaste (travel sized), contact solution (travel sized), medicine, razor, and shaving cream (travel sized), then there is no way it would fit. I even cut out the stitching dividing the mesh compartments just to gain a little more space. In the end, I wish I went with the bigger bag.

I was looking for a sleeker, more professional looking toiletry back that I could still bring on my one-pack travels, and this was perfect! I actually first stumbled upon the normal sized wash pouch, and was scared away by the size, but a quick search uncovered the same perfectly designed bag in small! The material is durable, and definitely feels like it would be waterproof and easy to clean, both on the outside and the inside. The components on the inside are tastefully divided, and the hook on the outside is great for smaller spaces/keeping your counter clear. I haven't removed my stuff from my last trip since the organization is so good, might as well just use it daily! Would highly recommend!!

I used to have the bigger wash pouch but it was too big. This smaller one is perfect for my essentials. Love the organization compartments. And this doesn’t take up a lot of space in my carry on.

I own many PD products and that includes the travel line items. While in SF on a trip a few months back, I picked up the Travel Backpack and wanted to pair it with something a bit smaller than my normal wash pouch for a few short (less than 4 days stay) trips I have coming up. Grabbed the small wash pouch in sage and it's perfect for my needs. Great amount of space for one person for shorter trips, and the ability for it to pack down small enough to fit in just about anywhere. As with every PD item, the quality is exceptional and the materials are top notch. If you are a frequent short trip traveler, I highly recommend this one. For longer than 3 days, I'd suggest the bigger regular wash pouch for more flexibility.

Pay attention to the dimensions on this page, because this guy is bigger than he looks in the photos and videos. Its plenty long enough for a typical deodorant stick or your average tooth brush. I think this would be the perfect companion to your clear bag for flying. Clear bag for the liquids, this guy for the rest. Unfortunately its too small to do the whole job, so it's kind of limited in its uses. Of course it's sturdy and well made and love that the material is easily washable. Wish it was a hair bigger so it could carry everything on a non-flying trip.

Like the travel bag, slight weight tradeoff for great features and durability. Probably good for indefinite travel for minimalists (I haven't even been able to fully stuff mine), but would also love an XS version: half thickness and without internal dividers. Though if you're super minimal you're already using a thin dyneema pouch as a toiletry bag. Love to be able to leave it open inside the cabinet with non-daily items organized, then to pack, just throw in the toothbrush/paste/tongue scraper and go.

The Small Wash Pouch has been an unexpected favorite of mine lately. Despite its compact size, it somehow fits all my essentials perfectly, and the smart layout with the little pockets keeps everything neat and easy to grab. I’ve ordered the coyote X-PAC version and the material feels really sturdy, and the fact that it's waterproof is a huge plus when tossing it into my bag without worrying about spills. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making it practical but still stylish. Would buy again.
