I finally threw out all my Hokas because even thought they look roomy, the toe box is very cramped. Ruined my feet (check online..its not just me). I love the Ultrafly for my HIIT class. There is enough padding, but not so much that I can't feel the ground. The toe box is amazing.
I bought these shoes to help address plantar fasciitis- so far they are comfortable and supportive. Time will tell if they help with my injury. The fit is good. They are good for being on your feet and walking all day.
I've worn Topo shoes for several years, always the Ultrafly for road running and Ultraventure for trails. These ones didn't fit me and in fact hurt my heel. I'm going to try the Phantom instead.
I've owned at least one pair of every generation of Ultrafly's, and this newest doesn't disappoint. Just the right amount of cushion (for me), snug mid-foot with the best arch support I've found in any brand, and a slightly wider toe box that lets my forefeet splay naturally without constriction. I'll keep buying Ultrafly's as long as Topo makes them.
I loved Topo shoes from about 2020 - 2025, but my last few purchases of road and trail running shoes have been disappointing. I noticed that my Ultraflys felt unsupportive, and I went to check my purchase history because I thought I must have bought them close to a year ago. BUT apparently I've only had them for two and a half months! The construction on the upper is holding up, but like I said they feel kind of blown out in the midsole. I've worn them probably every other day for two months, sometimes to run 2 miles on the treadmill, do a workout class, or work indoors where I probably get the steps equivalent to a few miles. I'm not going to buy Topo again, I've been loving Hoka instead
These feel great on my hard-to-fit feet. I didn't even need to go to "wide" sizing because the toe box is so roomy. Good arch support as well. A keeper!
Comfortable with the wide toe box and support Would recommend
Love this shoe. Good fit, right amount of cushioning with enough room for toes to spread out
Topo is now my favorite running shoe. This is my second pair. They are light-weight, yet sturdy and have nice room for my toes. They fit true to size.
Very disappointed. Ordered for my DIL and was shocked to see they were used! No where did I see that I was ordering used shoes. Will be returning.
