Bought on a whim after having success with arm sleeves, and just finished a hike with them…. These are sleeves that protect from sun, from dirt, and from brushing against plant growth on the trail when poison ivy is an issue. Can’t say they were warm which is a good thing, and they cool you by wicking moisture. No issues staying up on the thigh. I got Sm/M which was a perfect fit, and I’m 5’10 with medium leg girth.
