I would buy it again

I had the Kickr Core, but glad I upgraded to V2. The ability to connect heart monitor Candace senor to the trainer works great. It is also nice to solo do spin downs and use the Wahoo app for update is also nice

Loving it

Love it! So far I’ve been using the free Wahoo SYSTM workouts and they are fantastic. I was riding in the Pyrenees yesterday and the Pacific Coast Highway today. I can feel my Watts increasing by the day lol.

Mediocre Product, Horrendous Customer Support

My Kickr Core 2 as a piece of machinery is probably worth about two stars but I want to seriously warn anyone thinking of purchasing these of just how horrifyingly bad this company is to deal with afterwards. They have no customer support to speak of, and you should prepare yourself for email-only support and that it will take up to a week for them to respond, if at all. Also, upon purchase of one of these they will opt you into their subscription without your permission and you will very quietly start to get charged $18 per month for their 'PRO' subscription. I've looked at what that gets you and believe me, no self-respecting actual pro or even avid cyclist would use a single part of it. It is Wahoo's sad, desperate attempt to set up a bogus revenue stream from a product they've already sold you. If you plan on using Rouvy or Zwift, there is no use whatsoever for even their free subscription, much less one that costs you $18 per month, unless you want a training program designed by a tech bro. Worse than all that is the responses you get when you attempt to extract yourself from their subscriptions. they will gaslight you to your face about how you can change your account settings on their account page (you cannot), and about how you opted into the subscription fees even when you did not. They will never address the actual issue and you will be spending far more time dealing with their awful support than you will on your bike, doing what you bought this thing for in the first place. DO NOT BUY

Well made and easy to setup

I'm pleased with the quality and ease of setup, I set it up in about 30 minutes. I did a warm up ride that changed the zones to aim for. The Core 2 held its own, never letting me spin out. I think you'll be happy with it too

Upgrade from fluid trainer

This trainer exceeded my expectations. Have only used it with the free Whoosh app but like how the resistance changes to simulate an actual ride. Pricier than my old fluid trainer but worth the upgrade in my opinion.

Not compatible with mtb

For anyone wondering, this is NOT compatible with the Co-op DRT 1.1. That would require you to buy and install a new 8-speed cassette (+~$60). Seems like the model with the Zwift cog is the better option.
